On today's episode Chris and Robert talk about random thoughts such as general acts of kindness towards others and yourself, Pain of change versus pain of regret, and the power of proper communication and listening to understand.
A light episode with some great points for you to ponder.
Well, look at this. we Finally got to have our overdue visit from the elusive Uncle Jamie.
Chris takes the day off as Jamie slides into the co-host role today, but things don't really change much with a different co-host as Robert and Jamie ramble on about a variety of topics.
Among them, protecting your energy and staying positive. Jamie and Robert also revisit the things you can do to change your mental state when you are feeling low or depressed.
Welcome back HoMErs and welcome back Jamie!
Welcome back to the second half of our 5 quotes, 5 thoughts episode(s). Today, Robert presents his selection of 5 quotes to hear the incredibly insightful opinion that Chris has to share on those ideas.
Hello Gang, Robert and Chris back here for your entertainment pleasure.
On this episode, Chris presents us with 5 random quotes that he likes and we share an open chat about each one. A very simple idea that led to some very interesting thoughts and diversions. But enough from me, sit back, relax and give a listen.
Perhaps you may want to share with us some of your own favorite quotes or thoughts on the ones discussed today. As always, you can share your thoughts with us at [email protected]. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Today, Your HoMErs Opie and Weemo talk about happiness. What makes you happy? How can you find happiness? Can it really be a simple choice?
We talk about how easy it can be to find true happiness within.
Pretty good turn around for the boys who were expecting to be joined by a special guest that failed to call in.... again. Oh well, we found our happiness anyway. Hope you can too
On this episode, Robert and Chris touch upon the Million mask movement created by Ashanti Branch of the Ever Forward Club.
Prior to this recording, Robert partook in a special Zoom meeting initiated by Ashanti for men to share vulnerageously their thoughts and feelings.
We sit down and discuss what Robert took away form the Zoom. Among other things, some wisdom from previous mentors such as Alvin Brown and Chukky Okobi are mentioned as well.
If you're looking for that push, go follow any of these men on Instagram and definitely go to everforwardclub.org to create your own mask. Be a part of the Million Mask Movement.
After a brief hiatus, your favorite 2 HoMErs have returned. Today Chris and Robert sit down and just chat. Another version of 'Just Hit Record' where we come into this episode with no specific planned agenda or topic, but as usual, we seem to find some nuggets in there that you can apply to your own daily life.
Sit back and enjoy.
On this episode of HoME, Chris and Robert discuss the trending hashtag #notallmen and its counter hashtag #notallmenbutallwomen.
This may be a sensitive topic to some of you men but I challenge you....if it is, then why? Men, let's start asking women more what can we do or not do to start making them feel more comfortable at night, at a party, at a bar etc. Women deserve to be treated better by men.
Why should women have to be taught how to protect themselves? Shouldn't we be teaching men and our sons to be respectful of women?
If this episode triggers you, explore them and find the root cause. Be Vulnerageous; it's probably not women. Let's heal ourselves instead of hiding our traumas, because often those traumas come out in the form of aggression....all too often against women. That has to change.
On this short episode, Robert goes to the mic solo. After being struck with a moment of inspiration, Robert gets behind the mic to encourage you to explore your limitless potential.
We are built with the ability to do so much more than sometimes we allow ourselves to believe and on this episode Robert challenges you to ditch your negative thoughts and go out and achieve greatness.
Whether you think you can or cannot, you are right, so let's start believing that we can!
After a brief hiatus, Robert and Chris are back for you. Another "Just Hit Record" episode where we go into the show with no specific topic in mind.
Discussed today is the reason for missing the latest recording date as Robert admits to still having feelings of doubt and insecurity regarding the podcast.
The reminder comes out to just do it as living really happens outside of your comfort zone.
Anyway, sit back and listen to your token HoMErs rambling and riffing
