  • The Heart of Your Problem
Wouldn't it be nice if you could get up in the morning every day and have a note from God to tell you what He considers most important for you to do that day? You have that note from God. We'll start there, then open the treasure chest of insights into The Heart Of Your Problem and what to do about it. The Pharisees tried to trip Jesus by asking about paying taxes. Jesus amazed and silenced them. Then the Sadducees tried to trap Him with a question about a hypothetical seven-time widow and the resurrection. Jesus quoted Scripture and silenced them. That brings us to our home passage for today, Matthew 22:34–40. 1 - The Heart of Your Problem (Matthew 22:34-40) 2 - The Problem of Your Heart (Jeremiah 17:9-10) 3 - The Transformation of Your Heart

  • Glorify Your Son
The preacher warns that Christians must not let the world "find its place in their hearts," using C.S. Lewis's Screwtape Letters as illustration. Believers belong to the Father, not the world, and must be sanctified by the truth — "Your word is truth." The sermon stresses the necessity of Christian community, rejecting the idea of a "Lone Ranger Christian," and calls believers to fill their hearts with the knowledge of God so they may be rooted in His love and preserved to the end. The sermon concludes with Paul's prayer from Ephesians 3, urging believers to know the love of Christ deeply and to trust God's care as He safely delivers His people home.

  • Luke 8 15 Parable of the Soils, pt 5 Good Soil pt 1
What happens when a person has been granted the faith to recognize that Someone has created everything that exists and that Someone necessarily exists outside of all that has been created? God continues to call their hearts toward Himself and to prepare their hearts to receive the message of the gospel so they may be transferred from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of Light that is ruled by Jesus Christ who is the Light and Creator and the Redeemer of all who come to faith in Him.

  • THE SOURCE OF FORGIVENESS
THE SOURCE OF FORGIVENESS.Psalm 103:1–13 KJVWhere can guilty people find real forgiveness? Psalm 103 gives us the answer: forgiveness begins with God because forgiveness flows from the heart of God. David calls upon his own soul to remember the benefits of the Lord, including this wonderful truth: "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities." Our forgiveness is not based upon our goodness, our ability to make up for the past, or our worthiness. Its source is the mercy, grace, and compassion of God. In this Bible study, "The Source of Forgiveness," we discover a God who "is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy." Though He knows our failures and remembers that we are dust, He has provided a way for sinful people to be forgiven and restored. David gives us one of Scripture's most beautiful pictures of forgiveness: "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." When God forgives, He does not merely cover yesterday's guilt—He removes our transgressions and deals with us according to His mercy. And ultimately, the forgiveness celebrated in Psalm 103 points us to Jesus Christ, where God's mercy and grace meet us at the Cross. If you are carrying guilt from yesterday, you do not have to remain beneath its burden. There is mercy with God. There is grace with God. There is forgiveness with God. The beauty of forgiveness begins with its Source—and the Source is our gracious, merciful, and compassionate God.

  • The Necessity of a Thankful Heart
In this sermon from 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Rev. Ryan Denton expounds upon the biblical duty of Christian thanksgiving, showing that gratitude is not merely a feeling dependent upon our circumstances, but a duty owed to God because of who He is and what He has done for us in Jesus Christ. Drawing from the Scriptures, the examples of Job, David, the Apostle Paul, and Matthew Henry, Rev. Denton examines the call to give thanks in both prosperity and affliction. He reminds us that God's providence governs every circumstance of our lives, and that even our trials serve His fatherly purposes, refining our faith and directing our hearts toward the glory yet to come. Above all, our thanksgiving is grounded in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, through whom the curse is removed and believers are reconciled to God. Because of Christ's finished work, we have every reason to rejoice, even in our darkest hours.

  • Under Gods Mighty Hand
This sermon explores the distinction between being brought low by circumstances and willingly submitting to God's sovereign hand, urging believers to bow rather than merely be bent by life's trials. Drawing from 1 Peter 5:6, the message emphasises recognising God's active power in human affairs, which may chasten, restrain, or deliver, while maintaining that submission is not fatalism but a trustful reliance on His wisdom. The preacher addresses the internal struggle of pride, identifying it as a refusal of creaturehood and a demand for God to explain His purposes, contrasting this with the humble heart that accepts pain without ceasing to trust. By examining the character of God as a caring Father rather than an angry tyrant, the sermon reassures believers that their suffering is held within the context of redemption and grace. Finally, it points to the eschatological hope of exaltation in due time, illustrating that the path to glory runs downward through humility, as seen in the life of Christ, before rising to eternal glory.
