In episode 24 I talk about friendships that ended due to disloyalty, deception or betrayal and how that friendship had to end. Sometimes we think we needed that friend or those friends when in actuality we didn't. So many people have stories to tell about friends who turned out to be enemies. Some of these betrayals happened only to help us get to the next level. Some say if a friend switches up, they were never our friend from the start. In this episode I pose the question, "Do we really need friends or do we need experiences?" Should we change the definition of friend to a wolf in sheep's clothing? Some of us are still dealing with unresolved emotions from disloyalty, deception or betrayal that happened when we were very young (18.19,20 years old) and we should explore these emotions and experiences to pull strength from it, heal and become fully free from what happened long ago.
In episode 23 I have a special guest. Nikki is a nurse and a very good friend of mines. Together we share on the topic of being alone and strong. After a break up it is common to miss what we had with our ex. Asking yourself what do you miss, can help you to discover what to give yourself. We also talk about how the things we expect in our next relationship we should also be able to deliver. Some of us want to be with someone who has good credit and if we want someone with good credit we should also have good credit ourselves. Be ready to reciprocate what you expect to receive from your next relationship. Work on yourself in your alone time.
In episode 20 I give my listeners some insight about their breakup and why it happened. I also talk about how powerless this one relationship is against their lives. Compared to the universe, the person that you're no longer in a relationship with is a microscopic dot. You're life is beyond and way bigger than that relationship and trust me, you will get over them in time.
This episode is packed with encouragement for you. There was life before your relationship and there is life after the relationship ended. You will meet someone else and you will love again. After a relationship ends you are in a position to completely focus on you. This is your time to cleanse, heal and shine! Become excited about the encounters that are coming. Know what you want and what you don't want for this next relationship. Getting the truth about your former lover or friend is very important. Tear down the distortion in your mind about this person.
Episode 17 is very important. After relationships end sometimes it can result in a person experiencing suicidal ideation. Individuals have thoughts of not wanting to live anymore. In this episode I educate my listeners about suicide and discuss how it comes along with depression often. People who struggle with suicidal thoughts should know that they actually want to live but are dealing with dysfunctional thought patterns and are fighting against hopeless and negative thoughts. I encourage those who deal with depression with SI not to identify with it and to separate self from the mental illness. Allow this episode to inform you not only for self but for others. 9.3 million adults reported to having suicidal thoughts in 2015 www.cdc.gov. Suicide Lifeline 1-800-273-8255.
Episode 16 provides information about what to do when the ex returns. Do not respond to their first attempt to reconnect, reason being is you have an opportunity to see how serious they are about talking to you. In this episode I answer the question, "Why has my ex returned?" There are many reasons why the ex comes running back. Listen to this episode and be informed and prepared for when the ex pops up.
