The episode opens with a landmark moment for the league as Scott Hunter (François Arnaud – Midnight, Texas, Blindspot) accepts the MVP award and publicly comes out during his speech, watched proudly by Kip (Robbie G.K. – Departure, Murdoch Mysteries) and his friends. Inspired by Scott’s courage, the focus shifts to Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams – Bel-Air, Holly Hobbie) and Ilya Rosanov (Connor Storrie – Slasher, The Porter), who retreat to Shane’s cottage where joy, relief, and vulnerability finally replace secrecy. Ilya reveals he has been exclusive with Shane for months, and the two begin to speak honestly about their pasts — including Ilya’s childhood trauma and the loss of his mother.
