Parsha “Ki Tetzi,” (Devarim or Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19) is not only one of the most NOT-PC parashot in the Torah, but the fact that it IS should tell us exactly where things stand, on the Road to Judgment.
For example, the very first segment, often called the ‘war bride,’ sounds like something that ‘modern feminism’ would call barbaric. Until they see the alternative. Perhaps much sooner that they expect. The fact is, His Word does not “oppress” women, it protects them.
The Erev Shabbat reading literally lays out the case for the fact that the lessons here have become to UNPALATABLE to a nation that despises His Word that it is literally “jonesin’ fer judgment.”
But that is just the beginning.
WARNING: This is yet another reading in the continuing series that you will NOT hear in sun-god-day school. Which is again why what He RREALY says will surprise some. Which in itself is another commentary on the “lies we have inherited from our fathers.”
Only this world doesn’t. Not even close. And that is why this reading should be such a jarring “eye-opener.”
In the Sabbath day midrash, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa literally lays out the case for judgment, based on what the Whore Church as done not only IN SPITE of His Word, but TO it.
In the process, it is illustrative to see just how much of the ‘rhetorical device’ Yahushua used in the Sermon on the Mount, His very first public address, comes right from this parsha. And how, immediately after He warned about teaching that even “the least of” His commandments can be broken, so many translations have done EXACTLY that with His Words.
From marriage, to money, this is one that goes to the very heart of what is wrong with a nation, and a world, which hates His Word.

Mark Call welcomes back author and torah teacher Pete Rambo of natsab.com this week for ‘Part Two’ of the discussion of what could be called “Barriers to Torah.”
This week we take on a few of the other ‘sacred cows’ (or pigs, to start with) that we have been told, at best, to ignore. We understand that so much of what we have been taught is SUPPOSED to be “church doctrine” is not actually from Scripture at all, but is sometimes even antithetical to it.
And sometimes, it even seems people love their bacon and Easter eggs more than they love Him, or His Word.
There are no doubt going to be some things in this discussion that will offend some. But, after all, that is what He warned us would happen, right?
Some additional show notes: Pete sees the ‘Zadokite’ dates for the Fall Feast this year as:
Pete also again mentioned
Parsha “Shoftim,” (Devarim or Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9) begins with the word “judges,” which His people were to appoint in all their towns. So that they could render “righteous” judgment – essentially a tll.
But that is just the beginning.
John the Baptist was asked (John chapter 1) “Are you The Prophet…?” that Moses spoke of; that prophet “like unto Moses.” But the irony is that the real Salvation of Yah, as His Name attests, has been rejecting by both whoring houses! One because He pointed out their hypocrisy, and the other because He WAS the “prophet like unto Moses,” whom they ‘did away with.’
WARNING: This is another reading you will NOT hear in sun-god-day school. So the fact that His Word is so clear is a big part of the reason why.
Only this world doesn’t. Not even close. And that is why this reading should be such a jarring “eye-opener.”
The Erev Shabbat reading literally lays out the case for how “justice” has been turned upside-down:
In the Sabbath day midrash, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa lays out some contemporary examples of exactly why “justice, justice” is the antithesis of what is actually being ‘pursued’ in a world, and especially a system of “judges and officers” that not only reject the rule of law, but YHVH in particular.
And He has quite a bit to say about that as we

This week, the review of the news seems to fit a pretty clear pattern:
Mark Call welcomes author and torah teacher Pete Rambo of natsab.com this week for a discussion of what might be called “Barriers to Torah.”
We know we are told to “come out of her.” We understand that so much of what we have been taught is SUPPOSED to be “church doctrine” is not actually from Scripture at all, but is sometimes even antithetical to it. So why is there often so much resistance to what He actually Wrote, and SAID HE WOULD NOT CHANGE!?
There are no doubt going to be some things in this discussion that will offend some. But, after all, that is what He warned us would happen, right?
Some additional show notes: Pete sees the ‘Zadokite’ dates for the Fall Feast this year as:
Pete also mentioned “Eros Made Sacred,” by James Wesley Stivers and
Parsha “Re’eh,” (Devarim or Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17) begins with the word rendered “See!” – or, BEHOLD!” And what follows is what Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship calls a “Capsule Synopsis why WHY the Whore Church is STILL in Exile.”
The Erev Shabbat reading begins to explain ‘why’:
In the Sabbath day midrash, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa makes the case that this single parsha is central to understand why it is that BOTH the ‘Whore Church’ and ‘Whore Synagogue’ were sent into exile, and “scattered”, just as YHVH said they would be. Last week, we were told bluntly that men were not to “add to” or “subtract from” His Word; they have made whole religions out of it instead.
This week, that commandment is repeated, and He reminds us of so much more that we have simply been LIED to about.
WARNING: This is what you will NOT hear in sun-god-day school. It has ALWAYS mattered; now more than ever!
The combined two-part teaching is here:
It’s hard NOT to see it by now. And all of can certainly sense that “things are coming to a head.”
And who really believes that the most UN-popular “vice-president” in history, who got where she is the way everybody KNOWS, can possibly “win” anything?
This should tell us something.
What happens “real soon now…” when
Parsha “Ekev,” (Devarim or Deuteronomy 7:12 – 11:25) continues the theme of obedience to YHVH, beginning with a promise, that BECAUSE (ekev) you hearken (hear and obey) to these ‘mishpatim’ (ordinance) and keep them and DO them…then…
And it is central to His Instruction (torah) for us, which has not changed.
The Erev Shabbat reading not only makes what that means clear, but should “raise some eyebrows” as well. Because we’ve been lied to about what that means.
In the Sabbath day midrash, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa makes the case that there is FAR more to the instruction here than many of us have been led to believe. Last week, we were told bluntly that men were not to “add to” or “subtract from” His Word; they have made whole religions out of it instead.
This time we take a look at the consequences.
And what He says to do about it.
WARNING: When Scripture uses Strong Language, we do Him a dis-service to soft-pedal that Truth. Mark does not.
The combined two-part teaching is here:
Does anybody still believe that the next — and the Most Important — election in history will finally save a nation which has turned its back on YHVH and what it once meant to be a ‘Constitutional Republic,’ based on those long-forgotten “self-evident Truths?”
Is the Whore VP really such an incredibly Strong Candidate? Or is it just more of the same BS we’ve gotten used to?
What makes election fraud any different THIS time? And why would an election be allowed anyway, if it wasn’t already pre-rigged?
It is important to “be not deceived,” because:
“The Fix is IN!”
Parsha “Vaetchanan,” (Devarim or Deuteronomy 3:23 – 7:11) is, very what might be called the heart of the heart of His Torah, because it includes not only the ‘reiteration’ of the Ten Debarim (Sayings, Words, or ‘commandments’) but also what the Messiah Himself called the “greatest commandment” of all.
First, he Erev Shabbat reading of some of the most central commandments in the Bible:
In the Sabbath day midrash, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa makes the case that there is FAR more to the instruction here than many of us have been led to believe.
Do even the “Ten Commandments” still apply, now that we have been exiled from the land? OR, does He mean what He says about the commandment to neither “add to,” or “subtract from?”
It’s a ‘razor’ that is key to understanding how to discern His Truth from the “lies we have inherited from our fathers.” And a ‘church’ that, all too often, attempts to turn his very Word ‘upside down.’
The deception He warned us about is here. But we can ‘see that your are not deceived.’
WARNING: This is another rather blunt message, because time draws short.
