Orson Welles was only 22 when he took on the role of Lamont Cranston, The Shadow, in 1937. He was the "Shadow" for one year only. This is one of the earliest recordings of Welles playing Cranston. Agnes Moorehead is Margo Lane. Considering this recording is 81 years old, it is remarkably well restored. There are other Shadow episodes on this site and more to come.
