I recently did something that the autistic community does not highly approve of. L ots of individuals on the spectrum have great anger towards the organization known as Autism Speaks. They don't

even like it when a self-advocate is involved with them. As I said, tough knuckles.

On this episode I talk about family members who often blame their disabled "Loved ones" for "Bad behavior" and claim they are afraid of them. Yet,they never watch how they treat those loved ones.

Sadly,house of worship have pinged stigma against people who are disabled or different. Why? Leaders and those who are grandfathered in have unrealistic expectations and standards that they believe apply to everyone.
