The United States Geological Survey has confirmed a 2.1 magnitude earthquake struck Central Virginia late Monday night. According to the USGS the quake happened just north of Glen Allen at 10:46 p.m. Tunstall Willis, in Henrico's West End, joined the hundreds of CBS 6 viewers who shared on social media that they felt the shaking. "I actually went upstairs and I was working and had my window open. I heard thunder or what I thought was thunder," Willis recalled. Two motorcyclists died in separate crashes in Henrico's Near West End on Monday afternoon. In the first incident, police said 25-year-old Keyshawn Diming of Cumberland, Virginia, was riding a motorcycle westbound on Broad Street near Willow Lawn at a high rate of speed when he lost control and died after trying to avoid other traffic. Police said speed and reckless driving are believed to have been factors in the crash and that they are still investigating the incident. Richmond Police identified the man killed Saturday morning in Richmond as 28-year-old Kyron Hoskey, of Henrico County. "At approximately 3:19 a.m., April 6, officers were called to the 2200 block of North 23rd Street for the report of a person shot," a Richmond Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "Officers arrived and found an adult male, Hoskey, inside of a residence down on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
