Varina High School senior Joshua Crenshaw won the Fourth District Congressional Art Competition hosted by U.S. Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents the district. McClellan welcomed Crenshaw to Washington, D.C. to celebrate his success. Henrico County Division of Fire officials celebrated the graduates of its 79th Recruit Academy and its Paramedic Academy at a ceremony at J.R. Tucker High School June 20. Diane Cash Tinsley, 78, passed away on June 16, 2023, in Richmond VA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Cash and her husband of 50 years, Frank Tinsley.
