Mary Ann Tatum Jones, 89 of Henrico, passed away on January 26th, 2023. She was born in Greenville, Mississippi but was long time resident of Henrico. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Richard Foote Jones, parents Troy and Eula Jane Tatum and brother Robert Tatum. Ann is survived by her son, Richard F. Susan Bowman Reynolds, daughter of the late Shearer C. and Carolyn D. Bowman, was born in Richmond, VA on August 11, 1943, and after a brief illness, died in Richmond on January 30, 2023. She leaves behind her husband and best friend of 57 years, David W. Reynolds. They lost their only son, John Paul Barclay Reynolds, when he died suddenly in August of 2020. A 34-year-old man died after being shot in a Northern Henrico apartment community Feb. 2. Kevin Devon Thomas was found by responding Henrico Police officers with apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment in the 5800 block of Kirkstone Circle at Richfield Place Apartments. Someone had called to report a shooting, according to police. Officers attempted life-saving measures until EMS officials arrived took Thomas to a local hospital, where he later died. The 13th Annual RVA Environmental Film Festival will kick off March 10 at 7:30 p.m. with a showing of the critically acclaimed documentary, “Wildcat,” in The Dome at the Science Museum of Virginia.
