Everyone in Virginia who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine in Phases 1A, 1B or 1C will be offered an appointment for a dose by April 18 – the date on which the state will open the vaccination process to all adults statewide. There were 24 new cases of COVID-19 reported among people at Henrico public schools Wednesday, prompting 77 people to enter quarantine, according to the school system, which also reported two new outbreaks between students and staff members (one at Skipwith Elementary School, the other at Tuckahoe Middle School). The Richmond and Henrico Health Districts are entering Phase 1C of COVID-19 vaccinations early. The RHHD Wednesday is emailing 7,500 people from the two localities who are eligible in Phase 1C and who have pre-registered for the vaccine, offering them the chance to schedule a vaccination time.
