Parenting young adults can be challenging. In this episode, Crystal describes this season as a time to "Step Back and Surrender." Every mother, every woman experiences trials in this life. Sometimes we just need to hear from another mom or woman that we really aren’t doing as bad  as we think. Sometimes we just need to know that we are actually putting too high of expectations on ourselves.

We need friendships and ladies who will show us Jesus and help guide us through His Word to get through trying times.

We need direction as to how to use a trial to teach our children how they should respond when trials enter their life.

Proverbs 4:3 says, “For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.”

Crystal continues the theme of "Salvation Testimonies" by sharing her story this week. She struggled for many years to admit her need for salvation before finally surrendering to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and accepting Christ as Savior. 

She also spends some time discussing common reasons people doubt their salvation and gives a few thoughts of encouragement. 

There is no greater peace than knowing where you will spend eternity. If you have not accepted Christ as your Savior, may you call upon Him today!

Spurgeon had this to say about these verses, “David feels that with all his own watchfulness he may be surprised into sin, and so he begs the LORD himself to keep him…if the tongue and the heart are under God’s care all is safe. "
