In this episode, Hannah shares what the passage of Scripture refers to in 1 Timothy 2:9 in regard to sobriety, and why the women were even admonished to be sober in the first place.

Sobriety refers to having a sound mind, or self-control. One of the biggest struggles we all deal with or have dealt with is the battle between our minds, and our thoughts.

Satan has a large stronghold on many and it is kept deep in their mind. Feelings such as, "I'll never be good enough, I'm too this or that, no one actually cares about me, I don't have any friends," and the stronghold of depression, fear, and anxiety.

It is not God who wants you to live this way. Find freedom and victory over this bondage as you listen to this episode and gain knowledge from God's Word and some very practical steps that Hannah shares with you that can be put into practice today!

Being sober is listed in Titus 2 before loving your husband and children, and I don’t believe it was on accident. Being sober is living in control of your emotions and passions, not having them rule over you.

Paul charged Timothy to ordain elders or leaders in every city. I believe that in order for him to find the men he was looking for, he had to have women who were living according to the principles found in Titus 2

God has called all men to lead their home and will be held responsible for them. So, I believe Titus 2 is beneficial for every Christian wife.

The Titus 2 Woman.

When we hear that title, our minds may immediately go to the aged women teaching the younger women or even perhaps the list of things the aged women are supposed to teach the younger woman.  Truly, the chapter is filled with qualities that should characterize all Christian women striving to live for the Lord. We may be an aged woman. Or we may be a younger woman. But spiritually speaking, we are probably both. We all need to be teachable and also willing to teach with an attitude of love and humility.

Join Crystal as she examines having a teachable spirit and then takes a brief look at some of the instruction given to every Christian woman in Titus 2.

Join Hannah in this episode as she shares her study on “keepers at home” found in Titus 2:5.

Today it is looked at as oppressive to be a keeper at home or a “homemaker”. 

But God’s Word says the opposite. It is an honorable job and something not to take lightly at all. 

And yes, it does involve cleaning but don’t be deceived the homemakers job is so much more than that.

And whether you have children or no children, are married or single, you have a space to keep.
