Life really is a both/and.

I have been noticing a lot of people working out their trauma, woundings, anger… or, whatever is triggering them, on social media, in relationships, and right down to the way they think about life.

It's not always pretty...

In today’s episode, we're talking about those inevitable plot twists in life, and I remind us all that we have a choice.

We can choose path A — it seems predictable and safe. Or we can choose path B — which looks very intriguing, yet really unknown.

We will have plot twists in this life. Life really does happen after we make plans.  But, that doesn't mean we just give in and allow life to pull us downriver.

We just have to say yes to being ourselves, being the main character (ahem… hero), and agree to co-create our lives on a daily basis.

It's a new month and we are going to look at story from the lens of YOUR story. 

This week I talk about a book I read recently, Hero On a Mission, by Donald Miller.  It's not quite a beach read but it's a great reminder of who I want to be on my journey.

Today's episode has a lot to do with when we stay in indecision, confusion, and get stuck.

I spent far too much time in indecision.

Overthinking, people-pleasing, fearing I would make the “wrong” choice (hello Perfectionism) kept me in that space far too long.  Each decision I didn’t make was really a decision to stay stuck. 

On the road to freedom, there have been a few curves.
