David Crossland spent his entire working life within the walls of the Collin County Sherrif's Jail in North Texas. This setting has greatly influenced and caused him to grow as a person, as he's witnessed systemic change, the rise of incarceration, and the children visiting their parents go on to become inmates themselves. Becoming familiar with the cycles of crime and poverty, David sees the people behind bars as we all should - as human beings. We all make mistakes; some of us just get caught doing it.
