Also outdoors Friday night: The Canyon After Dark at the Ameal Moore Nature Center. Saturday night enjoy the Urban Campfire series under the stars at the California Citrus State Historic Park. Look forward to a great Artswalk on Thursday to kick off September (already!) with great activities at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum, the Downtown Library, and the Riverside Art Museum. Also: a special shout out to and old Riverside friend who has returned to the I.E. broadcast scene. We're back to another awesome Riverside summer weekend...start it right with an early evening visit to the Magnolia Center Marketplace. The Hey Riverside pop-up features Cadillac Phil and Dylan Olds. Did you hear the one about the sales tax that isn't really a sales tax? Ralph and Patrick did (at the August 9th City Council meeting) and talk about the city tax that will follow you outside of the city. Local breweries are breaking out great music with local faves Fox and The Red Hares at IE Brewery (friends of the show Do Wrong Right open the show) and Apryle Dalmacio serenades the Packinghouse Brewing Company. The Culver Center resumes their extensive film series this week and the City teams up with the Downtown Partnership to bring a special Pokemon Go event to town. It's all right here in our town - listen in before you go out!

The Commemorative Air Force is also raising funds with their monthly free movie night - this month's feature is The Glenn Miller Story. If you're a Dancing With The Stars fan you already know Maks & Val will be at the Fox...and over at the RMA The Silversun Pickups represent their not-easily-categorizable sound.
