In this we dive into two infamous battlefields known as Gettysburg Battlefield and Waterloo battlefield. We discuss the mysteries that surround these historic sites and explore some of the experiences of visitors including full bodies apparitions, phantom cannon fire, sadness and a heavy feeling, phantom smells and so much more. We ask questions and discuss the residual energy still trapped there as well as restless spirits. We discuss how burials and bodies after battles and wars were handled and how that could possibly influence why certain spirits are still haunting the Gettysburg grounds and other battlefields. Isaac concludes the episode by telling the story of an island used in World War 2 where soldiers met their demise not by the hands of the enemies, but the mouths of crocodiles and it's said that people can hear the screams of the men that lost their lives that day.

SMALL DISCLAIMER: There is a part of the episode where Megan is talking about a World War 2 story, and she meant to say World War 1. So please disregard the part of her saying World War 2. The story took place in World War 1.

Part 2? Yes, there will be a part 2 to haunted battlefields later in the year where we’re going to go even further back to battlefields that aren't commonly talked about but that go way further back than the ones we talked about on this episode. Stay tuned for that!

We'll Catch You Weirdos in the Next One..

What's coming next?: In the next episode we are diving in and exploring haunted battlefield as well as spirits of war.

Is it the isolation? The stillness that seems to accompany snowstorms that amps up these paranormal encounters. Or is it the stillness that encompasses the environment, creating the perfect backdrop for the unexplained? This week on Hidden in The Shadows we explore the chilling connections between snowstorms and paranormal experiences. From apparitions appearing out of thin air, shadowy figures lurking amongst the trees and whispers carried through the silence. From historic tales of ghostly encounters during blizzards to modern day accounts of unexplained phenomenon. We dive into stories and theories dedicated to this week's topic!

Have you ever seen an entity with a strange Cheshire Cat-like grin? After having this experience, ourselves, we decided to dig deeper to see if there was any specific documentation about this entity. While an urban legend about a Grinner Man existed, it wasn't the same. So, we took to forums and places on the internet where people discussed their personal encounter stories, and sure enough this has been experienced more often than we expected. During this episode, we talk about the time we witnessed one helping out on a case, as well as personal encounters with different entities we've seen since diving more into the paranormal and investigating. Among them was an entity seen in Megan's dream. A strange old woman brushing an eyeless porcelain doll's hair. While this episode gets quite weird, it is definitely one that leaves you scratching your head.

In this episode of Hidden in The Shadows we dive into the idea of ancient civilizations and paranormal encounters. It's easy to think that investigating the paranormal and interacting with it was a more recent thing however the more research we did the more we found out that interacting and experiencing the paranormal spanned further back. The original spark of being intrigued by this concept started when we stumbled upon a video about a 3500-year-old Babylonian Clay tablet housed in The British Museum that supposedly depicts the first ever description of a ghost as well as how to handle an exorcism. Interacting with the other side has been a fascinated since the dawn of time. Dive into the unknown with us as we unravel some theories, conjure our own and dive into some stories and locations that span centuries.

In the newest episode of Hidden In The shadows we delve into the mysterious urban legend of the Glimmer Man- an enigmatic entity that lurks within the depths of the woods, leaving witnesses bewildered and shaken. We explore some of the commonalities between stories, share a few encounter stories, and unearth some of the secrets surrounding this invisible phenomenon. Many of those who have crossed paths with the Glimmer Man describe an eerie sight- a distortion resembling a heatwave, rippling through the air. The air grows heavy, and unmistakable feeling of being watched takes hold. Could this entity be an interdimensional being? Or is there specific ties to Bigfoot? We dive into all of that... this week on Hidden In The Shadows.
