Hidden In The Shadows Podcast

In this long-awaited return to a Spontaneous Paranormal Conversation (SPC), Megan and Isaac sit down live to catch up on everything happening behind the scenes both in their lives and in the unseen world around them.

Moving through raw, unfiltered discussions, they dive into recent high strangeness, including Isaac's vivid "Mall World prison" dream sequences and Megan's timeline-shifting dream patterns. When UFO sightings or high-strangeness events reach a critical threshold, who or what actually shows up at your door? In this episode of Hidden In The Shadows, Isaac and Megan break down the origin, case files, and deep metaphysical connection between two of the most unsettling figures in paranormal lore: The Men in Black (MIB) and The Hat Man.

From the 1947 Maury Island incident and mysterious plane crashes to MIB appearances linked to the JFK assassination and modern hotel security footage, they explore whether MIBs are government enforcers, bio-engineered non-human entities, or the 3D physical projections of astral Hat Man watchers enforcing suppression across planes

• The Origin of the MIB (1947 Maury Island): Harold Dahl’s donut-shaped UFO encounter, molten metal debris, and the first recorded confrontation with a plate-less Lincoln and a black-suited stranger.
• Plane Crashes & Grassy Knoll Connections: The suspicious crash that killed investigating military officers, early MKUltra themes, and Fred Crispin’s bizarre reappearance in JFK assassination lore.
• Famous MIB Case Files:
• 1967 Toledo, OH (Robert Richardson): Direct threats against a witness's family over a piece of crash metal.
• 1976 Dr. Herbert Hopkins: A hairless entity wearing lipstick to hide a slit mouth, dematerializing a coin, and warning "my energy is running low."
• 2008 Niagara Falls (Shane Sovar): Security footage capturing hairless, mind-reading MIBs tracking hotel witnesses.
• The Hat Man & MIB Connection: Megan’s hypothesis that MIBs are physical 3D enforcers while Hat Man entities are their astral counterparts sent to block psychic development.
• Unmasking the Hat Man: Isaac describes stripping away a Hat Man’s shadow facade in the spirit realm, revealing an underlying form made of cracked, black obsidian glass.
• Megan’s Astral Meeting: A vivid encounter inside a rainy, downtown Chinese restaurant setting featuring a Manila case file handed over by an authoritative figure.
• Government Agencies & Pop Culture: The evolution of MIB from 1990 Marvel comics to the FBI’s real-life "SMX Files" (The X-Files) and local Eastern North Carolina cryptid lore.

When people talk about UFO encounters, one name always seems to surface MUFON. But what is this organization, really? A civilian watchdog? A scientific research network? A quiet pipeline feeding data to the government? Or something stranger?

In this episode, Megan and Isaac peel back the layers of the Mutual UFO Network from its 1969 origins to its modern role in UAP investigations. We explore how MUFON collects reports, trains field investigators, and maintains one of the largest UFO databases in the world. And we dig into the complicated, often murky relationship between MUFON, government contractors, and programs like AAWSAP.

We also revisit the Chris Bledsoe case, one of the most controversial encounters in recent history and examine why MUFON dismissed it while government officials took it seriously. Was it skepticism? A mismatch in worldview? Or something more strategic?

Finally, we break down the phenomenon that shows up in almost every modern UAP report: sky orbs. What counts as a luminous orb vs. a metallic sphere? Why are these sightings exploding across the country including right here in North Carolina?

If you’ve ever wondered who’s really keeping track of what people see in the sky, this episode is your primer on the organization that’s been quietly collecting stories for over 50 years.

In this episode, we step into the cradle of civilization to explore the ancient beings known as the Anunnaki, the gods, the sky‑beings, the architects of early humanity, depending on who you ask.

We trace their origins in Sumerian mythology, the stories carved into clay tablets, and the legends that echo through the Epic of Gilgamesh. Then we follow the modern reinterpretations that transformed these ancient deities into extraterrestrial visitors, sparking one of the most enduring theories in paranormal culture.

From creation myths to cosmic conspiracies, from ancient floods to forgotten kings, we unravel how the Anunnaki became the center of both history and speculation and why their story refuses to fade.

In this bonus episode, Isaac is joined by Jim, a Reiki practitioner and lifelong sensitive, to discuss his personal experience and go into detail on how Isaac and Megan helped to provide a  a home clearance. Moving beyond a simple ghost story, Jim describes a lifetime of "ghosty stuff" originating in his childhood and escalating into a dark, oppressive presence in his 100-year-old Virginia home following the heartbreaking loss of his dog. The conversation explores the fascinating intersection of emotional vulnerability and paranormal attraction, as Jim reflects on how workplace stress and grief lowered his "vibration," essentially turning him into a beacon for negative entities. Throughout the episode, they delve into the "bully philosophy".

The empowering realization that these entities feed on fear and discuss unique phenomena like "shadow spiders" and the mysterious "marks" left behind by spirits to ensure their return. From a bizarre synchronicity involving a phantom bat to a technical anomaly where audio recordings cut to dead silence during a clearing, this episode offers a complete insight into Jim’s paranormal experiences and a look at what it means to live as a "ghost magnet" and the journey toward reclaiming one's peace.

In this mind‑bending episode, we explore the powerful connection between the human nervous system, psychic perception, and paranormal phenomena. What begins as a scientific breakdown of how the nervous system works quickly evolves into a deeper question: What if the way we sense spirits, energy, and the supernatural is rooted in the very wiring of our body?

We dive into how trauma, intuition, energy sensitivity, and even post‑death imprints may all be shaped by the patterns held within the nervous system. Blending neuroscience with spiritual insight, this episode uncovers how regulating your internal state can sharpen psychic abilities, clarify messages, and transform the way you experience the paranormal.

Whether you're a medium, an empath, or simply curious about the mechanics behind supernatural encounters, this episode offers a fresh perspective that bridges science and spirit in a way you may have never heard before.

📌Key Topics Covered

The nervous system as the body’s communication network

How sensory input, emotional states, and biological signals shape our perception of the supernatural.

Trauma imprints and post‑death experiences

Exploring whether trauma patterns in the nervous system can echo into the afterlife or imprint onto environments.

Nervous system regulation & psychic clarity

Why grounding, calming, and regulating your system enhances intuition, mediumship, and energetic sensitivity.

Iron, electricity & the body’s energetic field

How iron, magnetism, and electrical signaling may play a role in psychic abilities and energetic interactions.

In this episode, the conversation begins with a vivid dream that sparked a deeper exploration into electromagnetism and its potential connection to the paranormal. That personal experience led to a breakdown of how magnetism actually works from electron spin and magnetic domains to the way aligned fields create attraction and repulsion and a look at the foundational discoveries of pioneers like Hans Christian Oersted and James Clerk Maxwell, whose work unified electricity and magnetism into the science we understand today. From there, the discussion shifts into the historical significance of iron in folklore and spiritual protection, examining why iron gates, horseshoes, cemetery boundaries, and other iron-based tools have long been believed to repel spirits or contain energy.

As the episode unfolds, the hosts explore the idea that if spirits are in any way connected to electromagnetic energy, then iron could theoretically repel them in a way similar to how like-charged magnetic fields push against each other. They also question whether Earth’s magnetic field, the same protective shield that deflects solar radiation, could play a role in creating an environment where post-biological consciousness might exist. The conversation ultimately leads to an epiphany about the possible electromagnetic nature of spiritual phenomena and the planet’s role in facilitating that existence.

Rather than claiming certainty, this episode encourages listeners to think critically and bridge the gap between science and the supernatural, inviting curiosity, theory, and open-minded exploration where these two worlds intersect. If you love when research, personal experience, and big-picture questions collide, this discussion is for you.

In this bonus episode, we step into one of our signature guest conversations. The kind that feels like a late-night talk around a round table where we dive deep into personal experiences, theories, and insight from those who walk in the world of the paranormal.

This week Isaac sits down with Amy Litwiller, psychic medium, Reiki practitioner, and experiencer, as she shares the life events and encounters that shaped her abilities. From surviving a severe heart condition and being given last rites as a child to childhood spirit encounters, prophetic dreams, and powerful premonitions, Amy opens up about how her sensitivity to energy developed and how it shows up in her everyday life. The discussion explores real-time spirit perception, dream visitations that delivered messages and warnings, long-distance Reiki healing, and her visit to Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum where unexplained physical phenomena took place. We also touch on UFO sightings, high-strangeness encounters, questions surrounding possible implants or tracking theories, and the challenges that come with being tested or misunderstood because of spiritual abilities.
