Beau is back for more dick!
Yes, we missed quite a lot of your community questions during our main episode – so we’re here to set the record gay and delve into some of what you shared with us on socials.
Did you miss the first episode? What are you doin here, what do you think this is? Check out the main ep first No Biggie – Side A with Beau as we got into the long and short of pecker size: https://joy.org.au/hideandseek/2023/09/ep-140-no-biggie-penis-size/
Here we go…
Where are all the small dicks? Beau explores the topic of ‘dickflation’ and gay men’s obsession with penis size and the desire to be hung.
We discuss the “long and short” of penis size perceptions within the gay, bi, and queer community. Joining us is the Beau, as we tip-toe through the not-so-tiny world of how media, porn, and Twitter chatter shape expectations around the ol’ tallywhacker.
From societal standards that can sometimes feel as rigid as, well, you know, to the portrayal of penile prowess in various forms of entertainment, we’re unzipping the truth of penis size. We’ll probe into the intersection of racism and fatphobia and how these factors play a role in perceptions.
But wait, there’s more! We’ll also tap into the art of measurement, exploring how this delicate matter often gets tangled in the web of confirmation bias. And speaking of web, Twitter culture’s impact? Oh, it’s a throbbing subject, alright.
Amidst all the winks and nods, we’ll shed light on nudism’s role as a liberating route to embracing diversity in the, let’s say, “appendage arena.”
We revisit the time Tim and Michael attempted to mold their own members and whether Beau had more success in that regard.
So, join us for a no-‘holes’-barred, ballsy discussion that’s all about breaking down the expectations, revealing the realities, and, most importantly, celebrating the wondrous spectrum that the male form has to offer. Remember, it’s not just the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean, and the camaraderie on the deck that truly counts.

Beca from Beans Bar in Fitzroy joins us to talk about starting a new bar for lesbian, bi, and queer women and their mates through a surge of TikTok interest. Beans opened a couple of months ago and is one of the few operating venues that cater to queer women, and one of even fewer new venues. We talk about being neurospicy friendly, and getting a bar off the ground.

A couple of weeks ago, Jon caught up with the newly sashed Sydney Ms Leather for 2023, Iz! Iz has been a great part of the Sydney leather, bear and Dykes on Bikes communities for years and it was an awesome opportunity to discuss her title and the importance of gender and disability representation in the rainbow communities.
