Scott is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz in Business Marketing, where he
also is a Hall of Fame two-sport athlete (Basketball and Golf) and recipient of the Heinz Ahlmeir leadership
award. As a successful social entrepreneur, Scott originally used his business acumen and entrepreneurial
drive in corporate America, specifically participating in start-ups in the tech industry before answering the
call in 2002 to be the founding Executive Director of Show Hope, a ministry founded by five-time Grammy
award winner Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth. In that role, Scott grew the organization
from inception to $10,000,000 in annual revenue with 25 employees in the US impacting vulnerable children
worldwide. In 2014, Scott, on behalf of Show Hope, was the recipient of the “Business with Purpose” award
from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
In recent years, Scott has been harnessing his skills, experience, strategic insight, and leadership by
coming alongside influencers and high-net-worth individuals. He is the Co-founder of Becoming Foundation,
Inc and The Becoming Academy where he is able to privately come alongside leaders and their marriages in
the culture. As a trusted steward of platform and wealth to help facilitate social change globally, Scott has
been instrumental in helping launch key initiatives for the Grammy award winning band, For King & Country
and currently serves International Justice Mission as a leader in their Pro-Athlete division. He and his wife,
Kerry of 24 years, live in Danville, PA, with their four children.
