Tamra and Emily can't resist getting all up in the mess as Tamra also manages to maintain solid footing atop a very high horse about her ex-amiga Shannon, piling on Alexis' relentless pursuit of camera time, justice for her two-bit boyfriend, and the $75k he allegedly gave to Shannon during their relationship. Gina and Emily maintain their critiques of Jen living well despite financial ruin and the Dubrow's shameless name dropping continues to serve as a solid replacement for ipecac, handy in an emergency but unwelcome in daily life. As Dolores continues her soon to be pointless search for a grand retreat, Joe Gorga and Luis have rival boyzz nights with very different agendas, but the main focus is a sit-down with Teresa's lawyer/friend who will share groundbreaking information about Marge's involvement with Luis' ongoing court case with his ex-fiancée. This episode picks up where the blowup at the coffee shop between Gina and Jen left off, the ladies all feel that Jen should have avoided financial difficulties while she remains glammed and confused as to what she could have done differently. A game of flag football brings the group together and gives them an opportunity to apologize and move on - except for Shannon and Alexis who have a battle over a boutique gym and trainer. Speaking of moving, Travis moves out of Gina's home as she sticks to her guns about protecting her financial stability and not wanting his divorce drama to become something they can't survive. Emily shares her challenges with her new fitness focused lifestyle, Shane shines in a confessional, Katie continues to build her beef with Heather as Sutton makes a cameo and advises against it - and Heather has to wear polyester.

Episode two picks up as Alexis and Shannon have just finished their lawsuit/John D.B. Jansen focused spat. We see Shannon survive more tests and feats of emotional strength, including a face off with former bestie Tamra, before the party wraps - and all in sky high heels no less. Shannon and Heather meet and find a way forward despite Heather's friendship with Alexis. Tamra expresses her ongoing concern for Jen's finances and relationship to Eddie over a biker lunch. We learn more about Katie's background and Emily gets everyone ready for a flag football game. Gina's disappointment in Jen's eviction and what it means to her reputation, stews and spreads throughout the episode until the two finally meet, but instead of squashing their beef, it grows and consumes everyone in the small coffee shop.

Marge and Dolo work through issues as the rest of the group ignore or exacerbate theirs, culminating in an unexpected sass bomb from Danielle that puts Jen Aydin in Dolo's crosshairs and makes for a tense 10-min break from the podcast taping.

The franchise that started it all returns for its 18th season with a bang as we see Shannon deal with the aftermath of her DUI and toxic relationship. As Shannon works to atone for her mistakes, Gina can't help but enjoy the irony after being chastised by Shannon for her own DUI years prior. Emily and Shane continue to provide comic relief as Jen deals with an eviction and we meet new housewife, Katie, a friend of Sutton's. Meanwhile, former housewife Alexis/Jesus Jugs, who is now dating Shannon's ex, gears up to have more moments in the sun. Fully embraced by Heather and Tamra, Alexis is emboldened to stick up for her new man and we see that this season will test Shannon unlike any other.
