  • Hate In High Regard Vol. 1 - S1E29
In Episode 29 of the “High Regard Show,” “Hate in High Regard Vol. 1,” we talk about the Top 5 things that we HATE. You can seriously hear the anger building as we get closer to our No. 1s. You know, when you do a show like this, you realize the world would just be a better place if only there were less people in our lives. Thank you legal system, for not making that a blissful possibility ...
I can't believe we narrowed this list down to just 5 things. Thank God Nikki had the keen idea to make it a volume show (meaning there will be more to come!). We could probably do a whole podcast on things we hate on a daily basis with little prep.
Have you even noticed that when someone is telling a story they change their voice to sound like the other person in the conversation? With that in mind, listen to Nikki's automated message hatred - she would make a very professional automated voice, if automated voices cursed.

  • No Sleep Till - S1E28
In Episode 28 of the “High Regard Show,” “No Sleep Till ...” we (or actually Tom) ramble through this week's show, which was recorded a few hours after he came back from a sleep study. If you have never been to one, its not as billed. There are no waterfalls, soothing music or snacks, which were definitely promised! There was, however, a lot of tubes, wires and glue mashed into the hairest parts of the human body they can find. For the record, Nikki is not furry, though there was a question at one point ...
What happened to this country's medical field? Four months in pain, and the concern is everything but the pain? We are at a point now where you can can choose to die of something young and be out of your misery or live long, broke and in pain! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain? How about we just try and advance what we started before we turn into a "Logan's Run" society, where everyone just decides to end it at age 30 as a means to get by!
Can we all just agree that this show was just a dream? Zzzzz Zzzzzz Zzzzzz ... (Not a "Buzzzzzz" sound!) you'll get it, just listen to the show

  • Based On Actual Events - S1E27
In Episode 27 of the “High Regard Show,” “Based on Actual Events,” we talk with writer/ director Keith Arem about his film "The Phoenix incident," a docu-thriller about the 1997 Phoenix Lights.
We also discuss the future of the movie-watching experience and how the gaming industry may change the way we view cinema in the future. As long as Tom can still partake from the couch, change what you will.
If aliens were so smart, what would they come here for? Don't they know the majority of humans would leave this planet to try a new one if given the opportunity? That should kinda tell you something.
You can learn more about Keith Arem and "The Phoenix Incident," which is being released in select theaters and on iTunes and VOD on April 8 by visiting

  • Technophiles - S1E26
In Episode 26 of the “High Regard Show,” “Technophiles,” we talk about the advancements of technology, what different generations consider technology (believe us, it varies a lot depending on when you were born) and our favorite favorite technological advancements. OK, let's just say the show was loosely based on technology. Somehow we hit a lot of speed bumps through this one, and since hoverboards have yet to be invented, it wasn't as smooth sailing as we had thought it would be.
This all spawn from Tom getting a new Pebble watch, which is exciting to him, but not nearly as exciting as not having to go to Sears to get watch batteries replaced any more. Yes, people still go to Sears, but we just can't explain why.
Finally, do people really not know what "Space Invaders" is? That blows my mind more than any double rainbow moment ever could!

  • A Slice Of New York - S1E25
In Episode 25 of the “High Regard Show,” “A Slice of New York” we talk about the reports of violence in our fair city going down. This is as more and more reports consisting of slashings, rapes and murders hit our local news than we can remember.
Regardless of how the news spins it, our violent roots are as strong as they ever have been in this city. Enough of the statement of "We're safer than ever been before" because we are not. Criminals are getting smarter, and law enforcers are becoming more limited in their rights to protect us with each arrest.
We love this city, but see it slipping. Better wear those big-kid pants if you plan to visit because there's a good chance you just might take a hit to your bottom!

  • Conspiracy - S1E24
In Episode 24 of the "High Regard Show," "Conspiracies," we talk about aliens, Tesla, the financial crisis, 9/11 and the Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory, which ties them all together. You can thank Tom Roarty Sr. for this topic, who suggested the movie "Sirius" on Netflix, that became the catalyst for the show.
We also somehow go into horse banging, which Nikki says disgusts her, but she did once watch a whole documentary on it. There's also an underlying ham radio theme going on; I wish I could tell you what that was all about, but I'm stumped ...

  • Comedic Interludes - S1E22
In Episode 22 of the "High Regard Show," "Comedic interlude" we talk with "Untitled" podcast co-host Dean Trimarchi about Manhattan Comedy School, Oscars, diversity and how we hope to die ... some day.
We also burn bridges with Woody Allen, whose version of New York hasn't changed since the '50s, and Bob Saget, whose live act is like watching van Gogh throw up paint chips. It's colorful chaos till someone puts order to it, and then its just an over-priced picture of a flower. Nice, but not a great representation from whence it came...
