Five weeks have gone by in the Section V regular season and it's time to unveil the High School Huddle local football rankings.
AJ Feldman and Carl Jones reveal teams which teams have impressed them so far this year. McQuaid takes the top spot in our large school rankings with four other undefeated teams right on their tail. Class A has a handful of challengers looking to take down the top dogs, especially after some recent close losses (3:00).
In the small school rankings, it's Monroe's world and everyone else is just living in it. However, Class B does not have a monopoly on dominance. Le Roy and Pembroke are rewarded with strong ranks thanks to their perfect starts (19:40).
They also look ahead to a pair of great soccer matchups on the slate for Wednesday (31:15).
The first girls soccer state rankings of the year are out and Section V is well-represented. After recapping a busy Football Friday on the roads, AJ Feldman and Carl Jones dive into the soccer rankings. Spencerport stands out amongst the local teams, but a handful of Class A and small school squads deserve your attention (5:00).
Turning to our Teams of the Week, East football won a dramatic game against Canandiagua while Hilton continued their undefeated start to the season to earn our praise (14:00).
Rochester Prep football won its first game in program history while Le Roy had a perfect showing on offense. They're our Eyes on You teams (21:45).
Finally, there are a handful of great matchups on the gridiron this weekend. We highlight Hilton/Schroeder and Victor/Irondequoit as our Games to Watch (28:00).

Avon in Class D and Attica/Alexander in Class C both earned some impressive wins in Week 3, they're our teams of the week (4:00).
For our "eyes on you" teams, we got to see Thomas girls soccer and Aquinas boys soccer up close and personal, we spotlight them and their impressive starts to the season (12:30).

Week One of the high school football season is in the books and there were plenty of headlines in the first week of action. Geneva and East Rochester/Gananda are our teams of the week, both for their strong performances and for Geneva's emotional victory (12:50-19:40).
Irondequoit and Fairport opened their season with a pair of statement wins, we've got our eyes on them after up-and-down campaigns last year (19:40-26:45).
Finally, there are plenty of big matchups on the upcoming schedule with Honeoye Falls-Lima/Monroe and UPrep/Canandaigua being named our Games of the Week (26:45-34:00).
It's time for summer vacation but first, AJ and Carl recap a successful state tournament weekend for Section V.
Fairport and Victor girls lacrosse both won state championships in dramatic fashion (0:00-10:00), while the Victor boys made the title game but ended up with the silver medal (10:00-17:15).
Section V baseball and softball had five teams compete in the state final four but while none of those teams were victorious, a worthy team and coach from Western New York did complete their storybook season (17:15-22:30).
Finally, we put a bow on the high school sports season by recapping our best memories from the spring and the year, while also highlighting historic weekends in track and field and flag football.

The action is heating up and so is most of Canada, as smoke from the wildfires is wreaking havoc on the state tournament schedule.

In boys lacrosse, Pittsford is building some serious momentum heading into the Class A semifinals while Schroeder pulled off a big upset over Canandaigua (4:00).
