In this episode, Natalie Bedard, shares about her work as an Energy Healing Specialist and what drew her to it. 

Natalie is no stranger to trauma and grief. Having experienced the loss of several key people in her life as well as brushing up against a life threatening illness of her own, she learned how to cultivate a sense of presence that brought healing to her life.

Due to trauma she experienced early in life, Natalie lived with her nervous system stuck in the fawn response. This caused her to develop a defense mechanism that prioritized making sure everyone around her was taken care of. The constant people pleasing only served to create more dis-regulation in her own body.

Natalie knew that in order to heal, she had to learn how to regulate her nervous system, so she began to meditate. Through meditation, she created a safe space inside herself where she could find reprieve from the chaos of being a single mom to 3 boys.

Over time, the internal peace she cultivated began to seep out into her interactions with others. It was at this time she felt called to share with others the tools and techniques that had saved her own life.

This episode is raw. Both Natalie and I vulnerably share what we are currently moving through in our own respective lives and Natalie challenges me to feel into the obstacles that I'm presently facing, causing me to reflect on my own healing journey.

In this solo episode of the High Vibe Heather podcast, I talk about the how the undefined centers in your Human Design work. 

Your undefined centers are the part of your design that are left white. They act as receiving dishes and pick up the energy in the environment around you. They are designed to be areas where you amass wisdom and are open to all of the ways of being. 

Because these centers are open, they are also your areas of vulnerability where you can become conditioned through absorbing other people's energy and the not self. 

Understanding how the undefined centers work and the not self theme associated with each center will help you be aware of how you've been conditioned.

We all experience conditioning and it cannot be avoided. It is part of the human experience. But by becoming aware of it, you can begin to shift your behavior by following your strategy and authority. 

Following your strategy and authority will keep you in alignment with your authentic nature. After all, you aren't here to live as anyone other than you.

Learn what it means to ground into your physical body and connect to Earth energy

Be inspired by Mary's story of pursuing her purpose and re-connecting with her intuition

Dr. Mary Sanders shares how she was called to continually evolve in her career in order to integrate body, mind and spirit through her work.

Born with a hearing impairment, Dr. Mary came into this world with a connection to her intuitive gifts that assisted her in making sense of the world. As she grew she came to see that her gifts didn't fit into the framework of her family's religion, so she let them go.

Interested in wellness and hands on healing, she pursued a degree in Chiropractic. Dr. Mary excelled in this field but after 20 years in practice she came to realize how deeply unhappy she was with the life she was living. This prompted her to sell her practice, her home and all of her belongings and move across the world to Vietnam with her husband. 

Not long after arriving in Vietnam, Dr. Mary experienced an identity crisis. Who was she without her career? In need of soul searching, she went to Bali for Yoga teacher training, which eventually led her to mindfulness training.

Armed with a new skill set, she teamed up with her husband, who had a career in the academic world, to create mindfulness training for schools in South America. During her time in South America, Dr. Mary was called away to be with both her mother and her sister on their deathbeds.

The experience of witnessing the death of these close family members had a deep impact on her. One in which she experienced the physical pain of losing an energetic connection to someone she loved. 

After this experience, she couldn't deny that we are more than just a physical body and she was called to study in the field of energy medicine. Her training as a medical intuitive was the missing link that brought her back full circle to the beginning of her life and her connection with her intuitive gifts. 

Dr. Mary now works as a Medical Intuitive who has a comprehensive understanding of what is occurring within all aspects of someone's being in order to help them release distortions in their energy field and find healing on all levels.

As a Human Design guide, I've shied away from the Enneagram. I didn't feel like I had room to learn a whole new system and didn't understand what it even showed you about yourself. But it just kept coming up in my world and I would have people asking me, what's your Enneagram?

After resisting it for years, I was on a long drive with a friend who insisted on finding my type. She proceeded to read through all 9 types until one of them resonated with me. After hearing the descriptions, I had a much better understanding of what the Enneagram was all about.

When I met an Enneagram practitioner, I thought it would be a great opportunity to dig into the system and learn more about how it compares to Human Design. Jen P. Higgins, Enneagram & NLP practitioner, shares how to use your Enneagram as a self discovery and communication tool to help you heal through setting healthy boundaries.

In this episode, Jen describes each of the 9 Enneagram types and specifically how they show the signs of stress. These signs give you clues that you've overextended yourself and are in need of setting boundaries.

I was recently featured as a guest on the Directions from a Spiritual Tour Guide podcast, where my friend Shanel Scott interviewed me on the topic of Human Design. She graciously allowed me to use the recording for my own podcast so I could share it with my audience. 

In this episode, I talk about the 5 Energy Types in the Human Design system as well as the Strategy for each of the Energy Types. Even if you're familiar with your Energy Type, it's so helpful to understand how the others work. 

Your Energy Type points to your role in life and how you are activated into participation. Each type plays a different role and experiences activation differently, so you really can't compare your way of doing things to anyone else. By following the Strategy for your Energy Type, you create more ease in your life.

I speak with Interior Designer Jennaea Denhardt about her intuitive process of designing interiors that not only match the personal tastes of her clients, but also what they crave.

Her biggest concern in designing a space for a client is reflecting the clients personal vibe. Much like Human Design is meant to make one feel at home in their own skin, she wants your Interior Design to make you feel at home in your space. 

As a self taught designer, Jennaea noticed that when she heard music she saw spaces, so she began integrating the music into her design process through having her clients provide her with a playlist of their favorite music. It became her way of channeling the energy of the space. 

When she was introduced to Human Design she became fascinated with the Environments aspect. Thinking back to all of the different places she herself had lived, she deeply resonated with the craving in her that was satisfied by being in her particular Environment. This led her to begin designing for her clients according to their unique Environment aspect. 

If you're wondering how to translate your Environment aspect into your own space, Jennaea gives examples of how she has incorporated each of the Environment aspects into her designs. Plus she's come out with a course where she teaches DIY design for the person who wants to build confidence in creating for themself a space that they love.

Recently I've been reflecting on the areas of my life where I am still following protocol, the way I've been taught to do things, versus the way I would choose to do them if I were to allow myself the freedom to do them in the way that I want. In other words, I've been peeling back more layers of conditioning.  

After receiving a couple of personal readings, one with an astrologer and one with a business intuitive, this aspect of my being was highlighted. I took it as a sign that perhaps it's time to retire the rule follower part of me, the part that's trying to keep me safe by doing things the "right" way and take the creative licensing, let go of the fear of messing up and trust my intuition to lead me to my own way of doing things. 

At first, I was thinking that this just applied to a singular part of my business, but the more I thought about it, I could see how it really applied to the totality of my life. I'm at a place in my life right now where I have total freedom to do what I want in the way that I want to. I realize that not everyone has this luxury and it's taken me 46 years to get here, but now that I'm here, I have this amazing opportunity to experiment and figure out what works best for me in pretty much every area of my life. So why not?

Even if your life circumstances preclude you from doing whatever the f*ck you want when you want (within reason, of course), there are probably specific areas where you have a lot more freedom than you're affording yourself. I challenge you to find at least one area of your life where you can give yourself the creative licensing to do things in your own unique way. In doing so, you will give yourself a greater sense of control over your own life.

I speak with the soulful mystic, Shanel Scott, about her spiritual journey and the development of her intuitive gifts. Psychic from a young age, she turned off her gifts until after the birth of her first child when she declared to the universe she was ready.

Her gifts immediately came back online and have been evolving ever since. First as a channel, then as a psychic medium, but after she received her Reiki training something interesting happened and she began receiving messages about the body. After developing her skills she began working as a medical intuitive, helping others find healing at the root cause of whatever ailment they're experiencing.

In this episode I speak with Birgitta Visser, Soul Empowerment Coach, Divine channel and Light Language Healer about how the early trauma in her life put her in a repetitive cycle where she kept living out the same abusive relationship over and over again with different people. 

After running herself into the ground, she realized that she had to make a change and sought out healing. Through healing she began to recognize her pattern of people pleasing in which she was attempting to rescue others, which only opened her up to being controlled and manipulated. 

Healing awakened her gifts and set her on a new path in life where she began connecting with Angels and Ascended Masters. Birgitta now channels messages from the many Light BEings to the aid of humanity, in the hope that people will awaken to what life is really all about.

Her profound insights remind us of the strength we each hold within, even in our most difficult moments. Like the ancients, Birgitta has discovered that true power comes not by avoiding our struggles, but by meeting them with courage.

I speak with Aline RaM, energy healer, mentor, teacher and author on what it means to live a high vibrational life.
