Maybe our job holds little or no purpose for a greater good, maybe it doesn’t align with our values, or the environment is toxic. As a result we experience what is known as the Sunday Scaries.Â
This feeling of impending doom of facing yet another Monday can show up in our minds and bodies in various ways- general anxiety and nervousness, insomnia, digestive issues, irritability, brain fog… just to name a few.
As HSP’s it’s important to acknowledge that our emotional distress is valid, and even more important that we find healthy ways to manage it.
