    https://www.helpguide.org/articles/mental-health/gratitude.htm

keep this in mind, being grateful does not mean settling with the life you have now, it just means cherishing who you have become and what brought you to where you are now, while still working for your biggest and wildest goals.

  • 4. about boundaries

if you're reading this description before listening to this episode, keep in mind this sentence: "people won't know that you need water if you don't tell them that you're thirsty."

here's the link to the HBR article that I mentioned:

    https://hbr.org/2022/04/a-guide-to-setting-better-boundaries#:~:text=Boundaries%20are%20limits%20we%20identify,secure%20and%20healthy%2C...

  • 1. primary & accessory goals
today, in the inaugural episode of Hiking to Ourselves, we talk about goals.
There is a main difference between what I call “primary” goals and “accessory goals,” and this difference is what we’ll explore in the episode.
I will also talk about how to identify the goals we are pursuing and a strategy that might help when we decide which goals to pursue.
the idea behind all this is not to have static goals. Goals are, and should be dynamic. They should change and transform as we also change and transform, but it is always important to be aware of which goals we are working towards and whether they are actually the ones we want to work towards.
    enjoy the episode!
