Upwards is an 8-week teaching series that invites us to lift our eyes to Christ. Throughout this series, we’ll learn to redirect the focus of our lives based on our position in Him rather than our place on earth. Follow along and start looking upwards.

Episode 1 Description:

We begin the Upwards journey by exploring the foundation of our new life in Christ. When we place our trust in Jesus, we are raised with Him, and our identity and hope are no longer tied to this world—they are secure with God. In this episode, we discover what it means to live upward from that reality, letting our position in Christ guide our hearts, minds, and daily choices.

Sometimes it's through the slow pull of distraction, the weight of unresolved shame, or the pursuit of our own ambitions. But no matter how far we’ve wandered, God's faithfulness has not changed.

This new series takes us into the book of Joel—a prophetic wake-up call spoken into a moment of crisis. The people of Joel’s time were facing devastation: crops lost, joy gone, and a deep spiritual emptiness they couldn’t ignore. But in the middle of all that loss, God speaks—not with condemnation, but with compassion: “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart.” (Joel 2:12)

Through this series, we’ll be invited to do just that. To stop and examine the condition of our lives. To recognize where we’ve drifted or grown numb. To hear God’s voice calling us—not to guilt or fear, but to restoration, renewal, and life.
