In today’s second solo episode, Axel shares the arduous experience he had dealing with the Ministry of Environment in order to get demolition permits and explains the best way you can go about it.
A couple of months ago Axel acquired two pieces of land in Saint-Jérôme. On this land was a duplex that got burned down and needed to be cleaned up and decontaminated. Furthermore, the duplex had a foundation wall within the strip by the river where you are not supposed to live.
In order to decontaminate and clean up a burned building you first need demolition permits but Axel surprisingly discovered that you need more than that, you need a certificate of authorization from the Ministry of Environment.
Dive in and discover how Axel went about getting the certificate of authorization and the importance of hiring a professional to do that procedure to save your time and money.
Additionally, learn how to compare different quotes & analyze which is the best contractor to do clean-up and why it is so important to ask contractors for all their documentation.
There is always a spoke in the wheel! STAY TUNED! Next episode, Axel will be talking about last minute confirmed bigger fees.
