En la primera parte Minerva Sosa y Jorge hablan sobre las metas de este año 2023.  En la segunda parte hablan y entrevistan a emprendedora Sherly Perez.  Ella habla sobre su experiencia viviendo en Bloomington, su familia y amigos.

In the first part Host, Minerva Sosa and Jorge talks about their new year’s resolution. In the second part they interview entrepreneur Sherly Perez. She talks about her experience living in Bloomington, her family, and her friends.

Una repetición de hace un par de años: locutores Lizbeth, Gabriel, Diana y Fernando son estudiantes de la High School North y High School South.  Ellos hablan sobre las redes sociales y los diferentes tipos de aplicaciones y plataformas que usan como TikTok, snap chat, instagram, Facebook y más. En la segunda parte hablaron sobre las licencia de manejar, lo que se necesita para obtener una, y la responsabilidad.

A re run from a couple years ago: Hots Lizbeth, Gabriel, Diana and Fernando are students at High School North and High School South. In the second part they talked about driver’s licenses, what it takes to get one, and responsibility.

Locutora, Maira Auxi, entrevista a Josefa Madrigal coordinadora de alcance latino de la ciudad de Bloomington con el departamento de Recursos Comunitarios y Familias para hablarnos de los servicios que se ofrecen.  Además, ella nos deja saber sobre el proceso para hacer una cita de preparación de impuestos en español y que docuemntos debre presentar.

Host, Maira Auxi, interviews Josefa Madrigal, Community and Family Resources Department, Latino outreach coordinator to share about the services that are offered. Also, she lets us know about the process for making a tax preparation appointment in Spanish and what documents to bring with you.

Infórmese sobre los servicios de salud mental que existen en nuestra comunidad. Comparten el estigma que tiene el tema de la salud mental en la población latina/hispana. Escuche las diferentes formas de superar el estigma de la salud mental.

In the segment De Mujer a Mujer, Host, Minerva Sosa, speaks with Marcela Sepúlveda about the topic of women and mental health. Find out about the mental health services that exist in our community. They share the stigma that the mental health topic has in the Latino/Hispanic population.  Listen to the different ways to overcome mental health stigma.

Josefa Madrigal entrevista a interprete y espcialista de registro de Bloomnigton Health, Marcela Sepúlveda, y a la trabajadora social, Lisa Robinson. Ellas mencionan el proceso del enrolamiento para obtener seguro medico. Nos dicen de la imiportancia de obtener un medico de cabezera. Marcela y Lisa nos dicen todos los servicios que se ofrece en la clinica HelathNet.

Josefa Madrigal interviews Bloomington Health interpreter and registration specialist, Marcela Sepúlveda, and social worker, Lisa Robinson. They mention the enrollment process in order to obtain health insurance. They tell us about the importance of getting a family doctor. Marcela and Lisa tell us all the services offered at the HelathNet clinic.

In this program, we hear from the IUPUI director of Latino affairs about preparing for college through the Kelly School of Business.  The second part, we listened to the Mexican Consulate-Indianapolis provide information on a topic of the importance of saving.

In this program we listen to an attorney to discuss the subject of ‘know your rights’. In addition, we heard from the protection department of the Mexican Consulate. They talk about protection services from the Mexican Consulate.
