They mention the importance of getting involved in different areas within your community. They comment on bringing different initiatives to our community and also how important it is to speak more than 1 or 2 languages to help their community and avoid inequality in areas that have fewer resources to serve people in need.

The National Latinx Heritage Month kick off consists of a Latino Collaboration Table forum. Amid the COVID19 pandemic the goal is to celebrate us and disseminate valuable information to our community. This forum brings experts as they discuss different topics but not limited to Health, Public Safety, Education and Immigration updates. We will hear from Mayor John Hamilton as he presents the National Latinx Heritage Month Proclamation!
