Welcome back to Holly the OT podcast! Today's guest is the absolute legend that is Caitlin Stejskal. Caitlin is the founder of ClinicianX - but before that, she was a burnt-out early year therapist who took off on a 14 month adventure around Australia. During her travels she got stuck into locum work in regional locations across the country, and found herself pondering on the lack of supervision available to OT's in these areas. 

ClinicianX was born from the idea of making high quality supervision more accessible. ClinicianX gives supervisors the opportunity to showcase their experience and personalities, while also giving supervisees the chance to find support from someone who they know they'll gel with. 

Caitlin shares about the journey to her tech start up, navigating the anxiety and fear of judgement as an early year therapist trying to do something different, the future plans for the platform and SO much more.

This week I am joined by Ed Price, who at the time of recording was the Allied Health Officer for the National Rural Health Student Network (NRHSN). Ed shares his journey from Marine Biology to studying OT, and how an opportunity to join a rural health club led him to supporting rural health on a national scale (all before even finishing uni!). 

A great chat, and hopefully an encouragement for all students that you don't have to wait till you graduate to do cool stuff!
