  • Dangerous Advancement of AI Pt. 2
Without question, AI has been developing at lightning speed. AI leaders have warned of safety dangers and are advocating for guardrails. President Trump has said those warnings are a "sick conspiracy" and is opposed to the guardrails as he sees the United States being at risk due to China's advancement. Meanwhile, there are concerns over the dangerous advancement of AI. There are concerns that AI will be used to design new viruses. Humans are having romantic relationships and conversations with AI. AI is producing explicit sexual materials even of minor children. Just two weeks ago, a federal appeals judge in Wisconsin ruled the 1st Amendment protects a person's right to privately possess child sexual abuse material created using AI as long as it does not depict a real person and stays at home. In California, a father indicates AI turned itself into a confidant for his 16-year old son, and then became a suicide coach. In another case, a young teenager used ChatGPT for Murder Fantasies before taking the life of his mother and his brother. Criminals are using AI to advance their fraud. Keep in mind the Apostle Paul warned Timothy about the perilous times in the last days and warned in II Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. With President Trump believing that AI must keep moving forward and some AI experts calling for guardrails to be set up, who's right? What does AI itself say about its own consequences? What is the ultimate end of AI? Is this all about immortality and mankind taking the place of God? What do we know about the romantic relationships some people are having with AI?

  • Work, Ambition, and the Glory of God
God created work as a good gift, but sin can turn work into an idol. Some men avoid responsibility, while others make their careers, success, and productivity the measure of their worth. In this episode, Dave Jenkins calls men to commit their work to the Lord, labor with diligence and integrity, guard against workaholism, and refuse to let ambition replace devotion to Christ. Because believers belong to Christ, they can work faithfully without making achievement their identity. • Devo 100: God Speaks on Foreigners
The devotional centers on the biblical mandate to love and welcome foreigners, drawing from Deuteronomy's instruction that God shows special care for the vulnerable—orphans, widows, and strangers—because His people were once foreigners in Egypt. It emphasizes that God is impartial, opposes bribery, and calls believers to mirror His justice and compassion by opening hearts and homes to those who feel alienated or displaced. The message underscores that hospitality, especially through shared meals, is a powerful expression of Christian love, reflecting Christ's identification with the marginalized. It challenges listeners to prayerfully discern and engage with strangers in their communities, recognizing that serving them is serving Christ Himself. The tone is pastoral and urgent, inviting practical, loving action rooted in theological truth and personal identity as sojourners.

  • The Legacy Of A Christian Father
The sermon exhorts Christian fathers to establish a spiritual legacy by leading their families with sacrificial love and active spiritual oversight. Drawing primarily from Ephesians 5 and 6, the message defines the husband's role as a shepherd who loves his wife Christ-like and provides materially and spiritually for his household. It emphasizes the critical importance of daily family worship, including scripture reading, prayer, and singing, to counteract cultural pressures and ensure the next generation knows Christ.
