Mission number 4 with 007 is this week and after Goldfinger, this had a tough act to follow but James has a jetpack this time...That's used in one scene. There is a lot of action though...Underwater. Well, let's give it a shot anyway. It was also WrestleMania weekend, so we got hype for a minute, yes even Anita too. Anita also can't wait for nanomachines. Guess she never played Metal Gear Solid. We'll tell you all about it in the episode.

Well, this day had to come eventually. None of us have ever seen Showgirls and i've heard nothing but bad things. I went into it with an open mind and was shocked by what I ended up seeing. Why? Well, just hit that play button and find out. Andrew is on the mic with us this week for his birthday and I guess this was Steve's gift to him. He shares stories from his trip and even got me to go to a club with him, no joke. I also have a new life story to add to the record books. We hope you enjoy the show!

It's been too long since the last Bond film, it's time to change that and this is considered by most to be one of the best ones in the entire series. Admittedly, I loved this one a a kid but didn't know what the hell was going on with the plot, hopefully looking at it now as a 34-year-old, it will make more sense. Also in this episode, Anita has issues with the physics of statues, Chris reviews the new Will Smith album and the new Devil May Cry series, and we have thoughts on the whole Switch 2 situation. We hope you enjoy the show!

Anita has been impatiently waiting for us to get back to the Alien series and we're finally finishing up the original Quadrilogy this week. This is a first time watch for Chris as well and many questions were asked and I even noticed a few things, I never thought about before with this film. "Why didn't they know about the acid blood?" "Why did they have three aliens in one cell?" "Why are people still being cocooned if the Queen gives birth like humans now?" "Why did the CSI guy just let himself fall and drown?" "For what purpose are they even cloning Ripley and the Queen?" "How the hell did they get any DNA sample to clone Ripley with after she threw herself in a vat of lava?" Those are just some of the questioned asked during the discussion. We hope you enjoy the show!

It's the final week of the Black History Month Marathon for 2025 and to wrap it up, Chris wanted to watch a certified classic of modern filmmaking. Even better, Chris has never seen this before. Even better still, Cameron was able to join us again this week and even better than that, the audio is back to normal this week. The film of course gave us a ton to talk about such as, deer meat, the differences between our childhood tv watching, our young fears of White Women, appropriators, Tiger Woods, Pokémon and two hosts give undeserved hate to New Jack City. We hope you enjoy the show!

At the start, I have to apologize for the audio. Anita and I went back to Ohio for a wedding and we had to get this episode in when we could and the mics were not showing us any love. On a brighter note, Cameron and Andrew were able to join us today and help us discuss a favorite movie from my childhood, How High! We discuss our favorite Wu-Tang Clan members, Cameron furthers his grudges with multiple people and starts new ones, we reminisce on the days of MySpace and Tagged and they have a good laugh at my old rage quitting habits.

First it was PJ, now it's Chris and Anita because yes folks, they have never seen Beverly Hills Cop before! This needed to be rectified immediately and what better time than during the Black History Month Marathon! It's been a while since I've watched it and I definitely caught some things during this viewing that I never thought about before. We also have a few stories this week, Anita and I give our thoughts on The Big Lebowski and I have hype news for next episode.

The Black History Month Marathon ain't over! Thanks to Markellus from So Wizard Podcast, the three of us finally get to check off a big one. Yes folks, none of us had ever watched Purple Rain before this but we were all familiar with that album. Chris has been dreading this day, but Anita and I were looking forward to it. We review each song as it comes up, Anita gets mad at some hand gestures I made during a certain scene, Chris surprises us both, Anita has thoughts about Prince's kissing style, and I do my best rendition of "Gigolo's get Lonely Too" by Morris Day and The Time. We hope you enjoy the show, we enjoyed recording it!

It's time to wrap up the first month of The Black History Month Marathon and I wanted to show Chris some love and watch something a bit less depressing this time. So, we are going to shed some light on a posse of Black cowboys and neither of us have ever seen this film before. There are a ton of Westerns but not a lot that tell these stories, so it was a lot of fun to see it on screen and make sure this isn't yet another part of our history that people try and wipe away.

I wanted to give the ladies some shine during the BHM Marathon, so Anita picked the movie this week and she has been wanting to talk about it on the show for a while now. Chris and I had never watched this before the episode but I heard nothing but good things. Well, until I checked out the Wikipedia page at the end of the episode. I actually got Anita to laugh a lot during this episode, even though she says my jokes are bad and somehow, we got on a long tangent about the Saw movies and Save the Last Dance. We had some fun this week and it was needed after last week's show.
