“When you are in doubt, be still, and wait; When doubt no longer exists for you then go forward with courage. So long as mists envelop you, be still; Be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists. As it surely will. Then act with courage.” — Ponca Chief White Eagle

We're back with our THOTFUL MOMENT! This week we are featuring someone special who we LOVE, from le TikTok: @NEURON.NERD!

We're back with our THOTFUL MOMENT! This week we are featuring a fellow mutual podcast friend of ours from the show: My Latinx Life!

It's hosted by Joe Arredondo and is a show that showcases the lives of Latinx, BIPOC, marginalized leaders in a comfortable setting similar to your mom’s kitchen. An overarching theme of the podcast is how relationships play a vital role in our development. He explores passion projects, community movements, intersectionality, culture, history, and mental health.

On this episode J, Lesly & Joe share stories of our upbringing, issues communicating with family members, how our communication styles have changed with parents over time and advice on building better relationships with family.

“We can’t concern ourselves with what was. We must act on what is.”

Back by popular demand, our REACTION & REVIEW segment a.k.a R²! We tested this out a few months ago with Drag Race Thailand and since everyone loved them so much, we decided to make it permanent and feature a new Netflix show.

In episode three, Aang is eager to take Sokka and Katara to the Air Temple where he was raised, but it seems that the temple is not at all how Aang remembers it. Meanwhile, Zuko stops to make repairs to his ship and is greeted by Zhao, a commander in the Fire Nation navy. Things pop off and Zuko challenges General Zhao to a firebending duel (known as an Agni Kai).

This season we are covering all of Book One of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER! This will not be like regular "moment" episodes. We just do a quick check-in and then jump straight into A:TLA. We will be posting new R² episodes EVERY FRIDAY until we finish the whole series.

We are so happy to be doing these episodes again. Make sure you email us or DM us to let us know you’re loving our new segment, R²!

"I never get tired of the blue sky." — Vincent Van Gogh

Back for a SCIENCE MOMENT this week! We are discussing a question many have asked but do you really know... why is the sky blue?

J. Daae goes solo this episode and talks about how the sunlight interacts with the earth's atmosphere causing the scattering of blue light, how human eyes can only detect a small section of "visible light" and how that plays into our perception of the sky's color.

If you been listening to our other episodes you might have heard me say I was going to cover Freewill in this science episode. But my laptop is currently broken and won't be fixed until next week. So here's a short, cute and fun episode in the meanwhile!
