In episode six, "Imprisoned", Team Avatar camp near a small Earth Kingdom town where they meet a young earthbender named Haru. This town is occupied by the Fire Nation and earthbending is forbidden. Katara convinces Haru to save an old man's life using earthbending, only to have the same old man turn Haru in. Katara devises a plan to save Haru by getting herself arrested for fake earthbending. Aang and Sokka help Katara devise a plan to free the imprisoned earthbenders. As the kids escape, Katara realizes her mother's necklace is missing and is found by Zuko.

The kids mess everything up, get caught and sent to the king. The king sets up a variety of tests for Aang to pass in order to save his friends. Who is this king?

Meanwhile, Sokka is embarrassed after being beat up by girls in combat training, and strives to prove himself stronger than the Kyoshi Warriors. Zuko gets word of Aang’s location and attacks Kyoshi Island. Then things get wild at the village!

Back by popular demand, our REACTION & REVIEW segment a.k.a R²! We tested this out a few months ago with Drag Race Thailand and since everyone loved them so much, we decided to make it permanent and feature a new Netflix show.

In episode three, Aang is eager to take Sokka and Katara to the Air Temple where he was raised, but it seems that the temple is not at all how Aang remembers it. Meanwhile, Zuko stops to make repairs to his ship and is greeted by Zhao, a commander in the Fire Nation navy. Things pop off and Zuko challenges General Zhao to a firebending duel (known as an Agni Kai).

This season we are covering all of Book One of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER! This will not be like regular "moment" episodes. We just do a quick check-in and then jump straight into A:TLA. We will be posting new R² episodes EVERY FRIDAY until we finish the whole series.

J. Daae goes solo this episode and talks about how the sunlight interacts with the earth's atmosphere causing the scattering of blue light, how human eyes can only detect a small section of "visible light" and how that plays into our perception of the sky's color.
