BONUS EPISODE for Y'ALL!!

J & Lesly have been featuring some of our favorite things at the beginning of our episodes. It varies but it can be a podcast, tv show, music, business, book or anything! We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t. ☺

But they started to take up a nice CHUNK of time from the moment episodes and since we want to provide you all with short-ish episodes, and didn't want to edit down our thots and onions... we decided to make BONUS EPISODES out of our Double Features!

From now on we will not be doing Double Features on any episodes other than these bonus ones.

Our Double Feature for this episode will be TINASHE'S NEW ALBUM, 333 and Heidi Klum's new Amazon show, Making the Cut!

We will be posting these bonus episodes every week that we post our MUSIC MOMENT! Since the Music Moment is only available on Spotify, we wanted to give you non-spotify listeners a lil somethin' somethin'.

Hope you enjoy!

"Will you go penguin-sledding with me?"

Back by popular demand, our REACTION & REVIEW segment a.k.a R²! We tested this out a few months ago with Drag Race Thailand and since everyone loved them so much, we decided to make it permanent and feature a new Netflix show.

This time we are reacting and reviewing Book One of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER! This will not be like regular "moment" episodes. We just do a quick check-in and then jump straight into ATLA. We will be posting new R² episodes EVERY FRIDAY until we finish the whole series.

In episode one, Katara and Sokka discover a twelve-year-old boy frozen in an iceberg. Who is this bald bitch and could he be the Avatar who disappeared a hundred years ago? Meanwhile, Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation, accompanied by his uncle Iroh, is in search of the Avatar to restore his honor.

We are so happy to be doing these episodes again. Make sure you email us or DM us to let us know you’re loving our new segment, R²!

Adios amigos!!

“[If you] compare [to] where you are, to where you want to be … you'll get nowhere.” — Sara Bareilles

Welcome to our THOTful Moment this week! We ask the big question: "Is our life predestined or do we have choices?" because systemic inequalities are real, like systemic racism, being poor and/or having a disability.

In this episode J & Lesly discuss what sparked this conversation, does everyone has the same choice, how we shouldn't compare our struggles to others, can people change or are we stuck, and some advice for those of you who feel like you can't change your situation.

Q'u, q'u yet dahdi nuntghesht'ih yida!!

“Plants and flowers taught me how to grow, by growing in secret and in silence.” ― Michael Bassey Johnson

Welcome to our SCIENCE MOMENT this week! Today we are talking about the easiest houseplant for any beginner, the Golden Pothos AKA Epipremnum Aureum.

J. Daae goes solo this episode and talks about the origins of the Pothos plant, how invasive the pothos species are, how to mimic their natural environment, basic care guide for pothos, how to get more potho plants FOR FREE and some other Potho types that live within the Epipremnum family.

There so many plants to talk about but this is one the easiest and hardest to kill, so it's perfect for you first timers. Thank you to everyone who tunes into the science episode. It means a lot!

Lions, Toxic girlfriends and Bicurious girls... OH MY! BTW it's our podcast's one year birthday👶🏻🎂

We're back with our THOTFUL MOMENT this week! Can't believe it's been a whole year since we first launched our first episode. This podcast has changed so much since then and we're so happy to see how far we've come in only one year.

This week we are featuring some of our close podcast friends from the show: Thanks For Your Concern! It's hosted by Ella Tudor & Berenice Diaz. Join them weekly, as they navigate post grad life as women of color, stressed by the current political and social climate. Learn about different cultures and perspectives while laughing along the way!

T4YC, Lesly & J talk about their experiences dealing with toxic high school friends, peer-pressure, and having girl crushes on friends. This talk was inspired by the CULT CLASSIC movie, Jennifer's Body and we talk about the disrespect this movie got, the misogyny that went into the marketing and reminiscing about watching this gay scary movie when we were young.

We reference this interview with Megan Fox & writer, Diablo Cody, talking about the impact of Jennifer's Body 10 years later. so plz check it out! We had a lot of fun recording with our FRIENDS and we hope you check out their funny podcast! Thank you to everyone who has stuck around with us this whole year. Y'ALL ARE THE REAL ONES!

Au revoir !!

Back to uploading on WEDNESDAYS hehe and welcome to our "Science Moment." This episode is a continuation to our Lightning, Auroras & Sun science episodes, so make sure you catch up!

J. Daae goes solo this episode as he tries to define what a magnet is, how similar electricity & magnets are, how do rocks become magnetized and explain how the magnetic field is created in the Earth's core.

This has been so hard! These are very dense topics and I did my best to break down these concepts without getting TOO technical. I'm not a scientist but I am passionate about science and I hope you're entertained while learning!

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t ☺.

Our Double Feature for this episode is two musical artists named SuperKnova (TikTok/Instagram) and B. Ames!!!

“The Sun, the hearth of affection and life, pours burning love on the delighted Earth.” ― Arthur Rimbaud

NEW UPLOAD DAY.. who dis? We are going to start posting our "Moments" episodes every Friday from now on! This is because we are adding a react/review segment on Wednesdays now. Listen to the episode for more details!

This week is our Science Moment and we’re discussing weather on THE SUN! This episode is a continuation to our Lightning & Auroras science episodes, so make sure you listen to those, too.

J. Daae goes solo this episode and breaks down some basic facts about El Sol, tries his best to explain what plasma is, how the Sun's magnetic field gets all tangled up and how those tangles release large amounts of energy into space.

There is a lot more I can say about the Sun and go in depth about but I tried to keep this very simple so that you can understand how events happening on the Sun affects the Earth's atmosphere.

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t ☺.

Our Double Feature for this episode is the HILARIOUS, CUTE and TALENTED @AdamRayOkay! Follow his social meeds and the reservation app OpenTable!

สวัสดี ครับ / ค่ะ (sawatdee kha/khrap)!

13 weeks later and we’re FINALLY DONE! Can you believe?

In episode 13 “Finale”, the top three queens have to create, direct and perform in their own unique one woman show. Then they strut the runway one last time before a winner of Drag Race Thailand Season 2 is crowned!!

Lesly & J are joined by their amazing friend Casey! We’re talking about the gurls' multiple outfit changes, our onions about each girl’s one woman performance and give a GINORMOUS CONDRAGULATIONS TO ANGELE ANANG for being the first transwoman to ever win in Drag Race Herstory!
