Homo in Training

“Don’t come out unless you want to...Come out for yourself...Shout, sing it. Softly stutter. Correct those who say they knew before you did. That’s not how sexuality works, it’s yours to define.”― Dean Atta

The homo's are back with another THOTful Moment and we are continuing on with our Queer Sex Series with Part 5 out of 6. We are almost done so make sure you share with your fellow LGBTQ+ friends!!

J & Lesly are joined by our favorite returning guests: Bella, Casey and our roommate Angel. We talk about our experiences being outed when we were young, dealing with rumors about being gay when you're not even comfortable with your sexuality and when sex became pleasurable after learning to have good communication in bed.

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t ☺.

Our Double Feature for this episode is the musical artist Ed Maverick and the beautiful African Ankara Silk Bonnets!

This was a very personal episode and we hope if any baby gays out there hear this, just know you're not alone and things get better! But ONLY if you communicate and never settle for less than you deserve.

Jumpa Lagi !!

สวัสดี ครับ / ค่ะ (sawatdee kha/khrap)!

It’s been a wild ride y’all and we got A LOT TO SAY about this season and this reunion drama. In episode 12 “Reunion”, all fourteen queens (except M Stranger Fox) return to spill the tea on Drag Race Thailand Season 2!

Lesly & J will not necessarily be recapping the reunion but giving our opinions about the topics they discussed, our biggest WTF Moments, the gaggiest runway performances, favorite lip sync battles, rate our least & favorite outfits of Art & PanPan and explain why Drag Race Thailand is the best show from the Drag Race franchise!

These recaps have so fun to do and we are glad the audience is enjoying these as well. Can’t wait for you all to hear more of our recap/review episodes!

Adios amigos!

“The sight filled the northern sky; as if from Heaven itself…they swung and shimmered loosely with more grace than the most skillful dancer.” ― Philip Pullman

Ready to learn some science sh*t?? This week is our Science Moment and we’re covering Auroras! This episode is a continuation to our Lightning science episode, SO LOOK FOR THAT!

J. Daae goes solo this episode and breaks down the cause of auroras and how the colorful lights are created. This episode is extremely simplified so that you’re better able to understand if you’ve never been introduced to these concepts before.

This is a dense topic because it involves the atmosphere (ionosphere specifically), the sun and our gravitational field. All three of these need their own separate episode and they will be coming out SOON.

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t ☺.

Our Double Feature for this episode is the Netflix show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” and a docu series chronicling the struggle for LGBTQ+ civil rights in America from the 1950s through the 2000s available on Hulu/FX called “PRIDE”.

สวัสดี ครับ / ค่ะ (sawatdee kha/khrap)!

We made it to the end to Drag Race Thailand Season 2! We only have the Reunion and Finale left.

In episode 11 “White Elephants” for the maxi challenge, the queens have to write their own lyrics and music, record it and perform for a music video. The runway challenge is going to be inspired by the majestic and iconic white elephants.

J & Lesly talk about the difficulty of writing music and our praises over the music video. We also discuss our frustrations with the judges critics of Bandit, the unfair Top 3 picks for the season finale and our final thoughts on how we feel about reality tv and how it is produced.

These bonus episodes are finally coming to an end and we hope they're been a good distraction from this crazy world. We decided that we will be adding episode reviews in the future so please be on the lookout for that!

สวัสดี ครับ / ค่ะ (sawatdee kha/khrap)!

OMG WE ARE ALMOST TO THE END! It’s been a wild ride watching Drag Race Thailand Season 2 and I hope our recaps/reviews express that to you.

In episode 10 “Family Superheroes” for the maxi challenge, the gorls have to get hot and sweaty for our sexy The Face Thailand fitness instructor and teach an exercise class to some senior citizens. For the runway, the queens get a little surprise from some friends and family from back home. They have to makeover their family into TWIN superheroes!

Lesly & J will discuss the shenanigans the girls pulled during the fitness class, praise Thailand for their oil cleanser product placement (remember to double cleanse, especially if you wear makeup), the wild fires on stage (quite literally) and our feelings regarding the runway challenge.

We hope you have been loving these recaps because this is probably one of our most fun segments that we will definitely introduce in Season 3 of our podcast. Let us know what you think!

“Equality means more than passing laws. The struggle is really won in the hearts and minds of the community, where it really counts.” — Barbara Gittings

Welcome back for our THOTful Moment this week! We are continuing on with our Queer Sex Series that we recorded last summer, this is Part 4 out of 6 and I will be releasing all parts for every THOTful Moment.

J & Lesly are joined by our favorite returning guests: Bella, Casey and our roommate Angel. This time we are talking about PREFERENCES! We discuss what our personal preferences are and if it's problematic to have one, are racial preferences the same as physical preferences (e.g muscles, tall, long hair, etc), and how can we overcome toxic preferences.

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t. ☺ It can be a podcast, tv show, music, book or anything!

Our Double Feature for this episode is Nuzest Premium Plant-Based powder protein, and the comedian/writer ZIWE's new Showtime variety show and Ziwe's Youtube channel!

Bonne journée!

สวัสดี ครับ / ค่ะ (sawatdee kha/khrap)!

EMOTIONAL A** BONUS Drag Race Thailand recap and review episode! J literally loses his sh*t over this lip sync battle, so we apologize for the sniffling and audible tears.

In episode 9 "Thai Musical" the queens had to perform in a musical tribute to Apaporn Nakornsawan and have a runway show inspired by famed Thai country artist Pumpuang Duangjan!

Lesly & J will discuss the difficulties the girls had learning the song and choreo, our praises for the musical performance, have an EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN over the lip sync at the end and how love conquers all!

This episode was very emotional and we get deep on the chosen family we get to choose as queer people. We hope you have been loving these recaps because we say stuff and listen back and be like, “Wow… that was deep.” The analytics say you all are loving this new segment but we would LOVE an email or DM on instagram letting us know what you think!

“Lightning strikes, you fear; rainbow appears, you are amazed; the sun rises, you relax; flood comes, you run away! Nature is like an amazing actor that exists to give you all kinds of emotions!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan

Welcome to our Science Moment this week! We're about to get.. ELECTRIFYING. Today we are going to be talking about LIGHTNING! This is a pretty complicated topic but I did my best trying to break it down for you.

J. Daae is going to break down what is electricity, how does an atom become negatively or positively charged, how does lightning form in clouds, how thunder works, the different types of lightning out there and how to avoid being struck!

On every episode J & Lesly feature something they’re loving right now called a Double Feature. We call it our DOUBLE FEATURE because there's two of us and we wanna feature some sh*t. ☺ It can be a podcast, tv show, music, book or anything!

Our Double Feature for this episode is Shea Couleé's new podcast called Wanna Be On Top? and buy her merch!, and the chinese author Xiran Jay Zhao and her new book Iron Widow (based on the only female emperor of China) and her youtube page!

We hope you enjoy this solo science episode because there’s nothing I love more than talking about science. Thank you do much to those of you who stick around and listen to J rant about his science interests.

Lep dan ti želim !!

J & Lesly cover how wild the girls get during Snatch Game and our thoughts on everyone’s performance. Their runway challenge is to have a 2-in-1 look and have to change into their revealing “heavenly body.”

ALSO there’s a HUGE TWIST AT THE END!!! We were SHOOK and we got a lot to say about it…

New week, NEW BONUS Drag Race Thailand episode! Will we ever stop? HELL NO!! Thailand gives us everything we are asking for from TV right now.

In episode 7, “Food Lover”, the remaining girls have to play with their food! Mini challenge is making a self portrait out of food items, the maxi challenge and runway is based off of the three thai food dishes our SEXY Chef Fang cooks up.

J & Lesly discuss how confusing the judges critics are AND rant about this week's elimination. We hope you’ve been having fun listening to us act a fool! Make sure you email us or DM us to let us know you’re loving this new segment! Maybe we can make it permanent? :)
