Season 1 has come to an end.  In this final episode of this summer's season 1, we take a look back at creating some fun and interesting content over the course of the last 25 episodes.  Reminiscing is bittersweet, and surely, we never thought these would grow to be quite as popular as they turned out to be.  Funny how the download statistics show you how far the reach of your podcast goes...

Watch winders.  Ah, those fun things which keep our watches going while they sit and wait for their turn on the wrist.  Like many folks, I thought I knew what was best for my watches and how to store them properly so they'd be ready to go.  What I found out from our friends over at Bennisson showed me I still had much to learn.  I share their insight with you in this Hot Take!

New new new new.  We all want new, or do we?  If new (these days) is hard to come by, taking a look into the past might be the way forward for you.  Something about the way acrylic crystals catch the light differently than sapphire or how some designs are simply iconic...all of these and more await you when you take time for the past.  Today, we're dipping our toes into the idea of looking backwards in time to find the next cornerstone to our collections.  

The "Hommage..."  The word can be loved, hated, lukewarm, or outright ignored.  What makes a watch an hommage or a blatant copy and rip-off?  Well, we take a bit of time today to take a closer look.  Using the gold-standard of divers watches and design, the Rolex Submariner, we try to see what elements that appear on other brand's divers are nods to the original, and what is simply a copy of design language.  Join us as we take a few minutes to discuss this topic and make sure you let us know in the Facebook groups what you think about the "Hommage Dilemma."
