March 17, 2021Hotel Almeda: Ep #18 “A Hot Minute” 3/17/21well it’s been a hot minute since posting a new recording- hasn’t it? my last move left a need for quiet, focus on recouping. this Airbnb is offering a very grounding calm. I’ll post a link because it’s this place has been a godsend / eye of the storm. even lett go of the fact that I wasn’t in my own place and for a few min forgetting I would have to leave again! Also want to recommend a documentary film called “my broken brain “ this very riveting portrayal of a woman redefining herself after a severe event. showed enormous strength courage, and insight. It was shockingly relatable ( pain physical uncertainty hope fear loss upset discomfort curiosity, perseverance ) despite my having a completely different event & experience with my body than her. check it out. OK that’s all for now ❤️❌⭕️❌❤️...more8minPlay
February 27, 2021HotelAlmeda: Ep #17 B “hawwwt off the Press, Project bluelight part two” 2/27/21in this episode part two I got unexpectedly cut off and I’m continuing the conversation about www://moneymanagement.org and Project blue light how it helped residences post “camp” fire in Paradise CA. its makes sense to initiate contact with a financial counselor who understands specific ins and outs of disaster relief & aid avail. NO they won’t write you a check but YES they may hold your hand / guide you to resources you may have not otherwise known were available, and possibly break down some barriers to access. As per usual I digress! we tale a side trip re relationship dynamics and how I see agencies also as relationship and its been important for me to examine whether they’re serving me and actin in accountable trustworthy ways—-or not. it’s OK to consider finding help elsewhere. My metaphor for this episode is wolves tracking pray and beautiful moon gates opening into new landscapes.. be safe xoxo Also I didn’t drop tooooo many F -Bombs in this episode it’s almost PC maybe R- 17?...more18minPlay
