John Jackson was an original founder of the American Plott Association. He is a life long Plott fancier, hunter and the foremost authority on Plott history.

Chris traveled to the 2026 American Plott Association Annual Breed Days held in Greenville, TN. Among the many legendary bear hunters there was one that stood out. Steve committed nearly his entire adult life to the promotion of hounds. Steve worked at three registries where he developed programs that are still in place today. Steve, as he closes in on his 80th Birthday, talk about his lifelong passion and reveals what is like to be facing the end of that journey.

Randy has won multiple coonhound world championships, built and operated a successful business, been a highly successful trapper and fisherman.
