Penn State football legend Brandon Short joined the show. Brandon talked about the importance of giving back to the community and how much it has impacted his life. Brandon talked about his upbringing and why he relates to kids going through hunger issues today. The guys asked Brandon a few throwback questions to his football days. He called out some Penn State fans to donate to a Penn State theme. Brandon gave his thoughts on the current state of college athletics and the growth of NIL.

Former Pirate Neil Walker joined the show. Neil said there wasn’t a big chance he was going to Penn State to play football because he was more built for baseball, referencing some big bodies he encountered on the gridiron. Neil talked about a time meeting Joe Paterno and his pitch to play football for the Nittany Lions. Neil talked about some notable Opening Day home runs, two of which came against the Cubs. The guys turned the conversation to giving back to the community and Neil told the story about his dad nearly getting on the fateful flight with Roberto Clemente 50+ years ago.
