Ray said the only way DeMarvin Leal is kept is if the Steelers roll with 5 edge rushers, which they haven’t done in recent memory. Is there any reason to be concerned with Jack Sawyer so far? Ray said the Steelers will have an interesting decision to make with Nick Herbig after this season. Ray indicated that Skylar Thompson could find himself a roster spot because Will Howard did not play at all in the preseason. How is Ray feeling about the run game to this point in the preseason? Ray doesn’t expect Calvin Austin to play tonight and he projected the receiver room for the initial 53-man roster.
