"As an entrepreneur, I have always been able to make money, but managing and budgeting money was never my strong point. Although I grew up in a home where money was never an issue, I was never taught how to be financially literate. It wasn't until my father became ill and the money stopped rolling in that I began to realize the importance of financial literacy and planning. I joined the community to become better and proactive with setting financial goals and budgeting."

"I've been able to pay off some debt and I have a better scope of what my monthly personal and business income looks like. My mindset has changed about the way I look at money and I am more mindful about how I spend my money. I am also no longer afraid of money. I used to be scared of budgeting and looking at my finances and I am no longer afraid. Money flows to me more freely. As a result, I have some incredible opportunities with my business. My change in mindset is the biggest win. I've also been able to reinvent myself because my mindset is different. I am very thankful to the community for this."

Meet Chef Stacey

Chef Stacey Dougan is a globally revered plant-based chef, who has successfully combined the art of culinary vegan cuisine with the mastery of entrepreneurship. A vegan chef for over two decades, Chef Stacey was the founder and Executive chef of Simply Pure Vegan Cafe, the second plant-based restaurant to open in Las Vegas. Chef Stacey is also the founder of the Simply Pure food truck, the first plant based food truck in the state of Nevada.

Her impressive culinary background includes training with James Beard award winning chefs and creating meals for celebrity clients such as President Bill Clinton, New Jersey State Senator Cory Booker and artists Usher and Erykah Badu. Chef Stacey is also a culinary trained raw and living foods nutritionist, creating recipes designed for optimum physical and mental health. She continues to serve the Las Vegas community by cultivating and teaching unique recipes that are satisfying, creative and nutritious.
