  • The Woman Gave a Mailman a Massage on the Street - Meg Poor

    Who does that?!  Meg Poor.

There is no lack of resource for life and/or business coaching. That's not to say though that there's an overabundance; each of these coaches have their own way of helping people move forward.  It's not just professional experience, it's also personality and personal experience.  Meg brings her own life's experience and desire to help others.  And she's so fun.

Thank you Emily Aborn for yet another great connection through your She Built This group.

  • What Stops You?

Discomfort. Guilt. Anxiety. Money Blocks. Insecurity. Lack of confidence.

How would, or perhaps how do these issues stop many of us from reaching our goals?  This episode gives you a very brief synopsis of a three-day event with six presenters taking on these challenges.  As you listen, if you find yourself wanting more please click here to register and get free access to the entire event.

We know that even taking a full hour each isn't enough time to topple these obstacles so we are arranging round table discussions to help grow your business or face personal issues together.  If you would like to be a part of these open, yet directed conversations please let me know here.

  • "I want to be seen as giving generously from a caring, non-judgmental place" ~ Ashley Nanney

In order to grow our businesses you need to Be Seen.

Marketing ourselves can take time and energy we just don't have.

These are two conflicting truths. If you own a business you probably know just what I'm talking about.

That is what Ashley Nanney and her collaboration of marketing pros does for her clients.  Imagine being able to do what you love about your business confident that the tools are being implemented to make it grow.  Ashley's focus, due in large part to her own history with wellness, is in working with those businesses who are committed to help others with their wellness.  My not-so-secret hope though is that she someday will be able to offer her services to all small businesses.  I have a whole list of people who need it.

"If there's something to share from my journey ...that is useful and powerful...I want to be seen as her." Ashley Nanney

  • 'I want to be teacher who helps people find..their own power.; Deb Arthur

'Connect your mind and  your body.'  If you're like me, when you hear that you have literally no idea what you're be asked to do.  None.  During this conversation Deb made such a clear, obvious statement, our mind and body have always been connected.  That's not to say we don't have work to do in order to be as strong and well as we can be, but her way of approaching that is very different than many.

The conversation mentioned 4 other coaches who are joining forces with Deb for a multi-day event:

    • Liz Sumner
    • Judy Blake
    • Jeanne Demers
    • Judy Fine
    • Each name is linked to their previous episode.

    • "I want to be seen as someone who gives others permission to live the life they want." ~ Judy Fine

This episode has been published and can be heard everywhere your podcast is available.

I love this conversation.  I love what Judy Fine is doing.  I didn't know anyone was doing what she's doing.

If you are one of those people who don't have anything against the  'normal' lifestyle of a house and kids and mortgage and a couple of  cars...but you just don't see it as your thing.  You're going to like  this.

    • 'I want to be seen as someone who is living a really cool life' Liz Sumner

      Well, she's done that.

While having relocated from New Hampshire to Italy she is still helping people deal with goals, productivity, anxieties, anxieties around goals & productivity...

I've had the opportunity to speak with a number of life coaches over the past few months.  It's been fascinating to see how varied their ways of helping others can be.  Liz has transplanted herself to Italy.  Can she help you?  Well, ask yourself; Have you ever found  yourself feeling guilty if you aren't  'productive' every moment of every day?  How do you feel when you realize the 'right way' of doing something for you is different than for others you know and respect?  Does it make you anxious? If so, you'll enjoy my conversation with Liz.

In our conversation Liz mentions a book she's reading and incorporating into her practice, Designing Your Life.  Here's a link.

    • "I Want To Help People; That's Where I Find The Most Joy" ~Jon Ingram

If you're in business you are likely aware of business network groups whether international organizations like BNI or perhaps local 'grass roots' groups.  They are often a powerful force for growth. In fact my own portrait business has benefited from a local group, Evolution Business Development here in the Monadnock region.  But my guest today, Jon Ingram has filled a different need for business owners. a different way of connecting.  Imagine gathering a handful of people you respect and having the opportunity to meet weekly for full, honest conversations.  No sales pitches. No elevator speeches.  No exchanging of upcoming events.  Rather, a supportive group where ideas and concerns are exchanged with the intent of growing as individuals.  How would your business benefit from that kind of group?  That's what Jon has done here.  Here's ready to arrange new groups.  If you operate a small business, one with no board members, often not even a partner, you know the value of connection and feedback.  Here's a quick intro.

You can see two members of the group of which I'm a member talk about just a few of the ways they benefit.

    • 'I would like to be seen as a guide'. Emily Benson

Who says you have to know what you want to do when you grow up? At what point do we tell ourselves that change is no longer an option?

Emily Benson has worked with people of all ages, helping them see the options available to them in a way they may not.  To take a quote directly from her website: "Do you know you need something new - but no clue what that would look like?"  If that describes you, you'll enjoy our conversation.  And when you're ready, here's her link.

    • 'I Want to be seen...period." ~ Amy Nelson

When I ask today's guest 'How do you want to be seen?' that was her response - 'I want to be seen...period.'

But don't be fooled, she's not looking for attention.  She wants to be seen, in part at least, because she has a solution.  She has an answer to a problem most of us face - preventable wellness issues.  Don't worry, this isn't a sales pitch for a brand, although she is a brand rep.  This is the 'why' she's so adamant to educate and fill in the blanks around the products you and I probably have in our home right now.

Amy opens her heart up on this one.

Asking, discussing, and answering the question, How do you want to be seen? Far, far more than how we want to look, or even how were are looked at.
