There's not a lot I can say to follow up with that title. But I'll try. Becky is a creative writer. She does help businesses find the words to promote their brand. But she's also just a lover of words. She provides a safe, welcoming atmosphere to explore writing, even for those of us who have a bit of a hesitation around writing. She calls these experiences Gateless Writing Salons. Its just sounds nice, doesn't it? Listen to Becky describe her experience with writing and then...here you go, here's her web site.
If anyone has attended these salons and would be willing share their experience I think it would be a great opportunity for others to feel a bit more comfortable to at least look into it. And thanks!
Some time back I had a conversation with another creative writer. I mentioned her in this episode and feel compelled to share her link here too. I get the sense Becky won't mind. Cheyenne Vaughn
Heather Sweeney, like so many of us has worked through those difficult times. That's not why her story is one to share; it's because of how she did it and what she's learned along the way.
In our conversation she shared quite a bit about the projects she's supporting through nonprofit organizations. If you'd like to learn more ask her. And in the meantime, here are some relevant links.
Team In Training Climb 2 Cure {Kilimanjaro)
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
Thank you Heather for you decision to be positive and to share with others your strength, empathy and compassion.

"Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strengths." Sigmund Freud
Can our weaknesses, our 'soft spots' really lead us to our strengths?
This is the second time Jeanne has been on the podcast. I was first introduced to Jeanne as an EFT Tapping coach. She's still offering that to her clients. But as you'll hear in our conversation Jeanne is welcoming the reality of change and growth and learning from past unpleasant circumstances.
See how she's developing programs to help you use your vulnerabilities to produce your greatest strengths. And to learn more about how EFT Tapping works, especially if you are having money issues, enjoy our previous conversation.
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
Mary Oliver
Do you know? How long has it been since you asked yourself that question, or one like it? A simple life is a good life. A purposeless life, not so. And the thing is, we all can reach for and attain that which fills us. Diana Place, of Third Act Quest has decided not only to do that but to be a resource for others who would like find what fills them. Unfortunately I had to limit our conversation's time but you can learn more by visiting Diana. She's got big plans.

"Growth must be chosen again and again. Fear must be overcome again and again." Abraham Maslow
It is true that with growth and transformation there is often challenges. But for those who face those challenges the results can be so satisfying, even life-changing.
Melissa Scherer is a fitness & nutrition coach working remotely with her clients long before it was a thing. Tailoring her plans to fit the individual needs of each person.
The conversation also mentions Sue Bruce Photography a successful, inspiring photographer who has helped me shape my business. She deserves to be credited.
'We are all products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of them." Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life
That's a tough one. For so many of the experiences that have molded us feel immovable. And it's true, they are a part of us. But must they determine every bit about us? Must our futures be dictated by events that happened, oftentimes long before we had any control over our lives?
Lori Pedrick, a local photographer, has created a project giving voice to the experiences of her clients. While I love reflecting the beauty I see in my clients, Lori allows her subjects to contribute their voice in a very real way, providing short essays in their own words.
I wish I could have included our entire conversation, all 90 minutes of it! But here, I hope you enjoy the sincerity of Lori's vision.

I'll be back in two weeks. Thank you for listening. And if you know of someone whose story should be heard, someone who answer to the question, 'How do you want to be seen' would inspire and motivate, please make the introductions.
Somewhere along the way we let go of the power of the written word. Not all of us, of course, but it's undeniable that society today relies less on telling heartfelt stories in a way they once did. With 280 character limits and the immediacy of social media in general the lost art of putting pen to paper seems to be left to generations past.
But words matter. Using the 'right' words matters. Sitting with our thoughts and feelings can help us find our thoughts and feelings and put them into words. Cheyenne is a copywriter, she helps small businesses choose the words to represent their business. But she also encourages those with the inclination to use the written word in expressing themselves personally.
This lighthearted conversation was a long time coming. I enjoyed it so much. Here's Cheyenne's Facebook.
In the episode I mentioned a local photographer Lisa Scoville. She's creating powerful images, telling the stories of those in her community as they deal, upfront with the Covid19 crisis. Please visit her page.
"Creativity is contagious...pass it on,"
Albert Einstein is credited with saying that. I don't know if it's true, but I'd like to think so. I love the idea of a brilliant mind attributing value to creativity....and to passing it on. Julie Trieb, originator and owner of Designs by JuJu started a company for the love of creativity; her own and to see others’ grow.
After hearing our conversation be sure to meet Julie. And be sure to share with someone you know has gobs of creativity but maybe doesn’t know where to go with it.
"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”
Charles Dickens
We live in a world that creates burdens, burdens that are often just too heavy to bear on our own. As the stresses of life mount we often find ourselves making less-than stellar food choices. Some do their best but still feel stuck. It can be a lot, dealing with life when you're feeling unwell.
