In the comment section of one of my videos a viewer asked me the following question: “Can you speak to how you built conviction in Tesla back when it was $30?" In this video, I’m going to share my thoughts on this.

Conviction in investing is how deeply you believe in the future of a company or asset. Sometimes that conviction can be based on objective facts, observations and research. Other times that conviction can be more shallow and based on emotions and wishful thinking. One of the keys to investing is to grow accurate conviction. In other words, convictions that turn out to be true. This is a sort of holy grail of investing.
