Disappointing Listen.

Having listened to all of the Burracombe Books prior to this one.. I can honestly say I have loved & enjoyed them all & could not wait to listen to the next edition. The narrator for these books having been Anne Dover.. Sadly for whatever the reason being, the Narrator for Farewell to Burracombe was changed to Janine Birkett.. I had mentally over the years built up pictures of the characters & could recognise their voices through Anne's narration. But with Janine's narration I had to start over again & personally I did not like the characteration's she chose.. In particular Felix! If there are any more Burracombe books in the future, unless Anne Dover does the narration I will sadly have to give the books a miss!! Please, please, if it is at all possible to do so bring back Anne Dover to Burracombe!!!

Disappointing finale

Having listened and enjoyed all the Burracombe books this was spoilt by the reader. Her voice grated and for me spoilt my listening. I have really enjoyed all the books, life in a village with all the characters and plot lines but this last one for me was a bit repetitive.

Enjoyable to the end, just a little bit disappointed that Anne Dover was not the narrator as she previously read all the other Burracombe Book

Anne Welch's "Carolina Hope" kept me on the edge of my seat. From Nashville to Green Sea, this incredible love story gave me special feelings inside that I have never had before in a book, and had me extremely envious of Erin and Ben's strong love connection with one another. If your looking for a quick read but one that's filled with tons of beautiful emotions, this ones for you.

First Romance AMAZING

I got to love Anne even more by just reading Carolina Hope. This being her first romance I thought she did amazing. The story was well developed and you actually got to feel the love that each character had for one another. It is a story that I can read a few more times and not tire of it.

Loved it

This is one of those books that just makes you feel good when you finish reading. It gives you hope that mistakes you made in your youth will be forgiven. Meet two people that find their way back to each other after a breakup early in life causes them to go their separate ways. This is an book you don't want to miss out on

Awesome

This book is awesome. I absolutely love this Author. I am glad Erin went back to her home with her mom and Ben. I think Ben is a lucky man. Erin saved Hope's life which is awesome. Give this book a try. Also reviewed by Heather Ann's Book Reviews.

Great Book!

Carolina Hope is a wonderful tale of love, lost, and betrayal. I greatly enjoyed the story of Erin & Ben. I love the characters that appear within the book. The smaller pool of characters featured allows the author to focus on the development of each one. It has been quite some time since a book has drawn my attention enough that I lose track of time. I was saddened when I reached the final page because the book had ended. I wished that the book had been longer. It feels as if there is more of the story that could be told. I am looking forward to more adventures in Green Sea.
