Envy and pride, like ill weeds, grow in her heart taller every day, until she has no peace day or night. Eventually, the Queen orders a huntsman to take Snow White into the deepest woods to be taken...

Simple fairytale

We all know the story of Snow White, but do we know this version?? The brother's Grimm version is simple yet still good.

Not at all like disney

This book definitely teaches you a lesson about trusting a stranger but it teaches you about what a loving person will do when filled with envy. It's definitely a good read.

Wonderful Imaginative Audiobook!

What began as an imaginative tale told to entertain three small girls on a row boat trip in 1862, three years later became a class novel written by Charles Dodgson (known mostly by his pseudonym Lewis Carroll). Aliceâs Adventures in Wonderland is a very imaginative unique tale about a young girl, Alice that falls down a rabbit hole and has many adventures in the underground world of Wonderland.

Honestly all I knew about Aliceâs Adventures in Wonderland before I listened to this great audiobook was from the Disney cartoon Alice in Wonderland. I wondered how much the two would relate and I was surprised that the Disney cartoon followed the novel very faithfully with all of the main characters involved, the white rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire cat, the Queen who wants to chop everyoneâs head off, etc. I noticed the book though has more detail as one would expect and the story goes on longer in the book as well before Alice makes it back to the everyday world.

Tim Reynolds did a fantastic job as a narrator, especially as he was a narrator with a British accent. My almost eight âyear old son Daniel listened to this audiobook with me when I first started it on the way home from an event. He really enjoyed it and the wit of the book made him laugh out loud several times. I enjoyed the wit and just supreme silliness of it all as well.

Overall, Aliceâs Adventures in Wonderland is a highly imaginative and unique story that works wonderfully well in the audiobook format, like reading the story aloud in front of a fire. It is enjoyable for both adults and children alike.

Over 150 years later and this book is still providing entertainment to the masses...

It's hard to believe that this book is over 150 years old, and is still providing entertainment to the masses today. With Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice Through the Looking Glass having just been released, it inspired me to read the original series to see how things are translating so many years later.

I don't expect that this original classic is read much by youngsters today mainly because the antiquated speech would be so hard to follow and understand. I didn't have as much trouble with it as an adult, but I did have to listen closely to catch some of the clever puns and plays on words that were occurring. Honestly the book is fairly nonsensical, but that is what makes it so great and provides such grand entertainment with CGI other filmmaker tricks these days.

Have you ever looked out to sea and wondered what kinds of things lie beneath it, where there are so many places to hide? There are clownfish that swim among the poisonous tentacles of the sea anemone. Catsharks hunt prey, and whale sharks swim into sight then fade away, all protected by their disruptive coloration. A leafy sea dragon disappears in seaweed. The great white shark is a sneaky foe. The deep-sea bristlemouth seems almost invisible because of its counter illumination. Blue tangs blend in with the colors of the coral reef. Tiny crabs hide in kelp. An octopus mimics a deadly sea snake. Pipefish look just like blades of sea grass. And queen parrotfish can make a clear mucus "cocoon" to cover their scent when they sleep.

Whether people live on the coast or far inland, I think that everyone is fascinated with the ocean and the great variety of life that teems within it. Fabulous Series

I have read all of the books so far of the series. Diana has created a world and characters which are believable, relateable and interesting.Taking you on adventures and experiences that draw you in to pure escapism. She has obviously done a lot of research adding to the realism and the story telling These books are written for children but I am sure adults like myself will enjoy them just as much

A great adventure book

Children will really enjoy this book. It's full of 'will the books adventurers make it' moments. Many good and bad characters are met along the way as the group journey through time and attempt to reach their destination and achieve their goal. The book is well researched as the reader is taken through the different passages of time.
