If you could sum up Just Like in the Movies in three words, what would they be?

Short story with a lot of story line going on. Loved Ava. Even as undecided as she was, she still knew what she wanted out of life

Ava has been content but knowing things were missing from her life and her relationship. A vacation changes all that and gives some kind of contentment.

Cute Short Story

This is a short sweet romance with an interesting story line and characters.

The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life. Her accent was easy to understand and she kept a good pace.

Ava and Erica go to spend 10 days at the beach. Ava meets Morgan and they get off on the wrong foot.

Very Cute

Where does Just Like in the Movies rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

I liked this short audiobook a lot, but it is not in my top 10 stories as I have a big library. This was my first listen of a book with British humor. Also, I prefer a longer book (this was about 1 1/2 hours compared to most books in my library which are over 8 hours)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Just Like in the Movies?

I liked in when Ava met Morgan at the bookstore in the beginning. She wasn't looking to meet anyone and initially clashed like oil and water

I couldn't even finish this.The Narrator,Leanne Yau,just talks too darn fast.Her narration also is not even so you miss a lot when it dips.I was provided this book by the author, narrator ,or publisher.

this had a very pride & prejudice feel

OK, so you know that confrontation scene in Pride & Prejudice where Mathew Mcfaden chases Kiera Nightly to tell her he loves her against his better judgment.? That was my favorite part and listening to this reminded me of that very scene. So yeah, for me this audio book was "just like in the movies" . Love those O'Connor's! Men who love their women enough to give them whatever they need, hot love or a hot bottom! Katie just has to decide whether that kind of love is more than she can handle.

What a sweet start to another series of the OâConnor family, and a spin-off from Liam O'Connor Book Series. Rancher Ciaran OâConnor takes an instant liking to Nurse Katherine Franklin, but he can see that Katie is very skittish around men, reminding him as an abused horse would. The plot kept me captivated and I loved the gentleness, and firmness that he shows in dealing with her and some of her issues. It takes his confidence and persistence to pull her out of her shell. The dialog is open and honest, and it was fun seeing characters from the first series. I look forward to seeing this relationship grow, there is great chemistry between them.

Good Prequel

I got this book via audiobook boom. This was less than an hour of book and ended so fast that I had to look at my headphones to determine if they needed charging. The story and narrator were good but not complete.

Erica is a flight attendant on a billionaires flight to Hong Kong Her ex boyfriend is the pilot. It is the first part ending a startling cliffhanger. It moved quickly. I primarily rate it 3 because it is a cliffhanger.

The story itself is good and so is the narrator although i don't care much for his female voices. i am interested in finding out what happens.

YES! It pissed me off. I couldn't believe how short it was. Forgive me for not being observant. UGH! The cliffhanger on this story had me actually yelling WTF!

Great short book, but ends abruptly

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. The only complaint is that there are four books that are basically four chapters to one book. I don't understand why it is done that way, but assume there is a reason. The story was good, but if you are thinking it is a short story, you would be mistaken. The narrator did a good job. Just disappointed that after receiving Part 1 for free, the ending was a cliffhanger and I had to purchase the other three books to finish the story. Ugh!!!!!

book 3, did not disappoint!

this is the 3rd book of this series and I have now listened to all 3 of them. I have enjoyed them all, but i think this one was my favorite. though this is a series, each book can be read as a standalone book with out you getting lost.

Julian has been my Fav band mate so far, and I would totally date him. there are also some great sex in this book!

the narrator did an excellent job bringing this story to life! I am a fan of Mr.Cole he has a great voice.

D. C. Cole gave Julian a perfect "Don't give a damn" voice that Julian was immediately different from any other bad boy I've listened to. The story was different with "rock star digs rock star" instead of uninterested girl. All in all, a very enjoyable experience!

I'm just a fan!

This series is an enigma for me. It's so not what I'm normally into in so many ways. Sure, I'll read or listen to the occasional rocker story. As long as it doesn't get too deep into the life, I can even enjoy it. But, I am hooked on this series! And, I couldn't figure out why! Most short stories leave me feeling like they weren't quite complete, or something was rushed or missing. But, not in this case. Rockers? Eh. Smoking of any kind, even reading about it, sends me for my allergy meds. Oh the sinus headaches, migraines, itchy, watery, and painful eyes, and eventual overall body issues! The only time in my life I ever had pneumonia was when my parents went on vacation and left me with an aunt who smoked. Thought I was going to die. But, I digress.

At first I tried to decide whether it was Jade Allen's writing or D.C. Cole's narration. Now, I'm convinced it's both. It's that magic that happens when the perfect narrator and author produce the perfect audio. Jade Allen writes a heck of a story. So, it doesn't obviously matter what she's writing about.

Lexy did a great job with Parker

Lexy did a great job with Parker. He is hot, confident, and owns his own gym. He is not a one woman's man and he is not afraid to let you know. When a competitor comes into town, Jennifer Leandra, call's him out. Jennifer is HOT.

I learned to really love Parker, he isn't what you would imagine as a trainer. I really liked watching Jennifer torment him and push him to his limit. I do wish there were more about the fitness challenge. I also thought there could have been a little more about Jennifer. Those things don't really take away from Parker's story, but I didn't feel as connected as well with Parker and Jennifer as I have with Lexy's other characters. I was gifted this book for a honest review.

Who...

wouldn't appreciate a buff, beautiful, bad boy? Apparently not many, and Parker has no problem playing all the fields...until...along comes Jennifer with a competitor challenge. Parker claims he can get anyone in shape, and Jennifer claims she can do it even better. Will either survive? Great book!

Oh my!!! Parker is such a hunk. He's a gym trainer. Che can get anyone fit. When a rival gym challenges him to a challenge he can't say no. Even if the woman gets under his skin and he thinks she's sexy.

Incredible Twists and Turns

I didn't think I was going to like this being narrated totally by a male but it was actually refreshing and the voice inflections were great. Trent, aka Jacob, ended up marrying Alana because of his dad's insistence for the babies welfare, when it was all for appearances. Trent and Alana ended up falling in love; finding out that the father had embezzled over $17M, forced him to retire and hand the company to Trnt. Trent in turn made Alana the new CEO.

âArrest My Loveâ is a sweet romance novel. It was so pleasurable to read! It follows Dean and Natalieâs story.

I really enjoyed reading Arrest My Love. The author does a good job blending romance, drama and humor in this sweet novella.

Dean is a single father who falls for Natalie his daughter's teacher. The pair have a quick and instant chemistry that worked well in this short story.

The drama suited the book and the characters in it.

I'm happy this couple was able to survive her past to get their HE A.

This book was sweet and fun but still had some suspense. I liked the characters and the little bits with the kindergarten kids. I enjoyed the push and pull between the MCs. They were dynamic and interesting. The pacing of the story was good. It kept me interested throughout. I kept waiting for the "ex" to show up. Every time I thought he would, he didn't. Definitely kept me on my toes.

Another great collection of hot military men by Veronica Maxim. She knows how to write a hot, steamy romance. The characters are great and I love her strong females. Narration in the second book took some getting use to but overall great series.
