    Nice easy reading love story
Easy read characters, while not great literary journalist, it is so so written but sweet story line. Recommend for short quick afternoon read.
    The Love Family Series
The only problem with Kate's books are they end and you have to wait for the next. Don't know how she does could be the white board and stick figures but another hit in the bag and another coming out in November. Believable family drama again not a story she's written that hasn't been great. Read you'll enjoy and want more.
Love the way the brothers gang up on Declan to ...

First read of Mary J. Williams, won't be the last
This is a story of HollywoodâA fabulous Hollywood dynasty. This is also a story of abuseâpsychological and physical.
Garrett Landis is an award-winning Hollywood director. His family has his back, always. Growing up in the motion picture industry, he is now directing and enjoys his work. He is also looking for that someone special.
Jade Marlow was abandoned by her mother, is being psychologically abused by her father and was horribly physically abused by the man her father chose to be her husband. She wants to get out, but is frightened. She wants no more scandal.
Loving, famous parents are not the norm in Hollywood, but it is absolutely the norm in the Landis family. They all pull together, sometimes work together, and have each otherâs backsâalways. Garrett doesnât really understand Jadeâs cool faade, especially after they begin seeing each other, but her requests for anonymity are granted. He doesnât want to keep sneaking around. Jade does not want anyone to know about her time with Garrett, she wants to keep him for herself without any parental interference. When her father reveals that he knows, it sparks a change in Jade that may or may not be good for she and Garrett.
The beginning of the book sets the scene by using a prologue and some flashbacks. At first this was a bit confusing, but quickly sorted itself out. Once you get to the present day, you see the need for the information provided in the beginning.
Iâve never read anything by Mary J. Williams, and I almost gave up as I began this book, it seemed to move very slowly, but, I am so glad I got over that hump and finished! What a fabulous story. Meeting all of Garrettâs family, and knowing there are stories for each of the brothers coming, I canât wait to read them all.
I enjoyed Ms. Williams voice and as stated above, will be reading the rest in this series, and other books that sheâs penned.
Heartfelt romance with a great heroine
This is one of those times I wish I could give a book a 4.5. It's better than 4 stars but just shy of 5.
I really like the classic romance feel of the author's writing style, and the endearing character of Jade is skillfully developed. Watching her evolve from damaged to empowered engrossing and the reader really roots for her. Although Garrett helps her, she doesn't depend on him to fix her problems for her.

    True Love & a Mystery = Awesome!
    I loved this novella!
At first I wasn't sure because I didn't love the narrator's Irish accent, but she only uses it for the ghost's chapters which aren't often. Her Irish is okay, just not awesome.
In the second chapter, when the narrator spoke in her natural voice. I totally relaxed. She's an amazing narrator! I'll definitely watch for more of her work.
    Okay, about the story ...
So, so we'll done. Everything from the characters to the love story to the mystery was timed just right. Beautifully written and crafted - it was just a joy to listen to.
I loved that while I felt the romance as true, it was also innocent and sweet. You don't see that too often these days. <3
    A castle, a ghost, a romance: wow!
Would you listen to A Savage Ghost again? Why?
I would definitely listen to A Savage Ghost again. The story is compelling and the narrator captures the spirit of the tale.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the suspense as I waited for Coop and Lia's future to unfold and the ghost's past to finally be at peace. I also loved the underlying sense of family--Lia's family was prominent in driving the story, and the ghost was driven by his love for his daughter.
Which character as performed by Tiffany Williams was your favorite?
She did an amazing job with everyone--she had different age levels and both genders to deal with, as well as an Irish ghost! She got the temperament down for each of the characters and her pace was in sync with the plot line. That made for attentive listening. I loved the ghost the best!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes
    Any additional comments?
Great combination of a wonderful story with a magnificent story teller. Bravo to both Weaver and Williams!
Great ghostly premise and clean romance!
    Any additional comments?
I just finished listening to Savage Ghost by Donna K. Weaver and really enjoyed parts of it. I love old fashioned ghost stories and clean romance and Savage Ghost has both. This short story centers around native Californian Lia Savage who is helping her parents remodel a haunted castle in Washington State that was recently inherited by her father. Almost immediately after they arrive, Lia observes a ghost that has targeted her younger sister. The rest of the story is figuring out who is the ghost and why is he still attached to the castle. [The ghost in the story is a sad, lonely, and misunderstood soul, much like the ghost was in Oscar Wilde's The Canterville Ghost].
I really loved the premise and plot, but there is not much substance or "meat" to this story.

A ridiculously cute, formerly famous new guy dropping into your life? It's practically every girl's dream.
    But not Jules McCallister-Morgan's.
I realize that on paper I look like your standard type-A neurotic overachiever. And maybe I am. But I didn't get to be the editor of my school's long-revered newspaper by just showing up. I have one main goal for my senior year: early acceptance into my first-choice Ivy League college - and I will not be deterred by best friends, moms who think I could stand to "live a little", or boys.
At least that was the plan before I knew about Alex Powell.
And before Alex Powell betrayed me.
I know what you're thinking: Calm down, Jules. But you don't understand. This stuff matters. This is my life. And I'm not going down without a fight.
Okay, I sort of did. But it's a sore subject.
I mean, I guess everyone knows about Alex Powell? Two years ago you couldn't go anywhere without hearing about viral video boy band sensation Chaos 4 All. Two years ago Alex Powell was famous.
Some people think I'm overreacting. But this. Means. War.
Filled with romance, rivalry, and passive-aggressive dog walking, Amy Spalding delivers a hilariously relatable high school story that's sure to have you falling for The New Guy.

This book is for everyone who loved the Gilmore Girls
This book is for everyone who loved the Gilmore Girls, but wanted a version of it telling Paris's story, or for everyone who loved Leslie Knope of Parks and Rec, but wanted to see her as a senior in high school. This book is about overachieving, all of the great and terrible things about being a teenage girl, boybands, and how much everything seems so important at that age in life, and it manages to be both fun and funny while doing all of this. The perfect summer read, no matter how old you are.
    Another great Amy Spalding book!
I love all Amy's books because they're about real, smart girls with real, smart problems. Jules is a funny and relatable heroine, and her type-A anxiety made me giggle because I recognize it in myself. Plus there's a cute guy with great hair, as there is in all Amy Spalding books. A fun read with real laughs and real life.
fun read. Amy has a way of giving her ...
This was just a fast, fun read. Amy has a way of giving her characters relatabillity. You can empathize with the drama they go through. The drama is a fun roller coaster you want to be on.
    Five Stars
Super cute, super fun, super book!!!
Spalding is easily one of my favorite contemporary writers
Occasionally characters come around in books and I feel like I have found myself. Jules is one of those characters. She has high anxiety, she has this need to be perfect and accepted. Natalie has few wants in life. She wants to be editor in chief of her school newspaper, wants to get into Brown, and wants to feel like her parents (Mom and Darcy) found her worth it.
Julesâ dreams start to come true with her getting editor in chief and everything else around her starts to crumble. There is a rival newspaper/TV show. There is a cute boy. And Jules is slowly becoming a s***ty friend (even though sheâs currently not aware).
Hereâs the thing. I know that spiral that Jules was in. I know it well.

Having read every book written by Lacey Dancer, I was curious and eager to read the first fiction book she has written in twelve years. As she eloquently described in her letter to the reader at the front of "Chase The Fire", these twelve years have been life altering in many ways. So, also, has the time affected her writing style. There is a new sophistication in her characters and plot lines but even more so in her descriptions and emotions. The rough patches she described in her letter melded beautifully with her new beginnings to create a more improved Lacey Dancer! I honestly didn't think that was possible. I look forward to all her new books and somehow know I won't have to wait twelve more years!
    Best book this year
This was a good read and a very different feel than the other books I've read by Lacey Dancer. I hope they put more of her books on Kindle soon.

    Jump For Joy
This quirky romance had me hooked from the beginning and kept my interest throughout.......I had to stay up late to finish it.
Caitlin and Declan meet as strangers and begin a journey that's funny, romantic, emotional and challenging. As the story unfolds, we witness how much they have in common and how their differences influence them by the Authors use of Dual Points Of View.. With each point of view we see both perspectives of a situation, which really enhanced the character development. It's a sweet story of love through heartbreak and disappointment that will tug at your heart and leave you smiling.
I enjoyed the narration of this book. She was easy to listen to and voiced each character quite well.
Note: There is some swearing and one sex scene in this story........but nothing explicit.
This book was a pleasure to listen to and I would like to thank the author, narrator, or publisher for providing me this audiobook at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review.
    Loved The Story
I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. Declan and Caitlin meet under unusual circumstances. They dance around each other from one situation to the next. They also help each other figure out what they not only want in life but what they need. I am glad that Caitlin let go of a man who not only cheated on her but belittled her because of her accident. Declan became the man that she relly needed but he also had issues that he needed clearing up. Through honest communication, they learned to see the lighter side of life. The narrator was too soothing for me. I believe that a little more something should have been infused into some of the scenes to really bring them out.
    Great Listen!
What did you love best about Jump, Jive, and Wail?
Interesting story line and great narration.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Jump, Jive, and Wail?
The airport scene when Kaitlyn falls into Declan.
Which character as performed by Lisa Beacom was your favorite?
    Kaitlyn
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I definitely did not want to have to stop it.
    Any additional comments?
I was left at the end feeling as if I wanted more, so I hope maybe this will turn into a series. I really enjoyed the performance, especially the Russian and Irish accents.
    Really Good Story
    Any additional comments?
    3.5 stars
Very enjoyable listen. Really good story, that pulls you in from the start. Creative and unusual opening setting for the meeting of the main characters, as well as the interesting connection they have.
This is a slow building romance story. Yes there's insta attraction but the timing is not right for more at the time. I like that the story takes place over time.

    Members Reviews:
The ending will leave you breathless!!!
RISE Part Two continues the story of Tess and Landon, an event planner and airline pilot, who met on a plane flying from Milan to New York City. Landon is 9 years older than Tess and prior to meeting Tess his approach to women had been "one and done". Landon is fascinated with Tess's maturity for her age while introducing Tess to the hottest sex she has ever had. What makes RISE so enjoyable is that characters from the author's other series are part of this series as well. Ivy is Tess's cousin and Lilly is Tess's closest friend. Landon's father who died in a boating accident 10 years earlier rises from the dead. Frederick staged his "drowning" to avoid exposure of his terrible misdeeds. The end of Part Two Has a shocking twist which may break Tess's heart. I can only hope that I don't have to wait too long for Part Three!! Excellent quick read!!
    Rise 2
Deborah did it again this is such a good book and story and I can't wait for the 3rd and final (I hope) book as this is way too exciting and I also hope the 3rd book will come out soon.
Thanks Deborah - you are an awesome author. Huge fan - hengy
Long time reader, first time reviewer
What I love about Deborah's books is that once I start reading one I get so into the storyline that I don't even notice the percentage at the bottom of my Kindle telling me how much of the book I have read. Because of that, I am genuinely surprised when I get to the ending cliffhanger. Deborah's writing is far superior than many of the other indie authors I have read. And her cliffhangers kill me every time! With every book of hers that I read I say that she has hit the best cliffhanger of all time but she always get better the next time! Rise Part Two has by far exceeded my expectations of cliffhangers and I can't wait for part three it come out!
    OK
OK But I did not think it was anything I would tell my friends to read
    OMG
Part 2 was shocking. I can't wait to see how this series ends. I am blown away by the ending of book 2. Now I have to start reading it right now.

Amongst all the drama, old friends are always on hand, and when Dottie falls ill, an old face comes back to Burracombe to lift her spirits - and perhaps change her life.

    Burracombe
Another story about the ups and downs of village life. I absolutely loved it. Beautifully read by Anne Dover it was easy to visualise the village and I feel that I know the villagers so well !! Can't wait to listen to another book - thank you Lillian Harry for writing such lovely stories.

Enemies forced together just might become lovers in USA Today best-selling author Janice Maynard's Texas Cattleman's Club: After the Storm tale.
For billionaire horse breeder Drew Farrell, the day starts with the usual argument with ornery neighbor Beth Andrews. But within minutes, he and the irritating beauty are huddled together in a storm cellar praying for their lives. They call a truce...and seal it with an unexpected kiss.
They emerge to a scene of utter devastation. Their passion to rebuild is rivaled only by the very personal passion they've just discovered...until Beth's past catches up with her, and a very different type of storm erupts.

    Stranded with the Rancher
The story was more focused on relief efforts after a disaster in a small town than it was in the "romance" and their story. There were too many explanations for things happening instead of actual dialect. It felt like the story was all over the place. Also the fact that they didn't have much time for their relationship to develop not just "we've hated each other for two years, let's have sex and then we'll be head over heels in love" was just too much. Then the wedding for Drew's brother was so out of the blue it just ruined his story with his high school sweetheart. While there weren't any typographical errors I still didn't like the way the book was written. It dragged on things that didn't add to the story and rushed through the ones that would've made the difference between an okay story and a great one. I was so bored I almost didn't finish the book.
The heroine wasn't too likeable either no matter how many times the author told us *insert sarcasm here* how much she volunteered and helped everyone after the storm even though she too was a victim (but she was one of the lucky ones.) She was so unforgettable I can't recall her name even though I just finished reading the book. I almost wish the story was about Stormy, the orphan puppy she's adopting but somehow forgot rather quickly. She was too into her insecurities and her stubbornness came off as annoying. What she went through in her past doesn't add up to the way she acts. And don't even get me started on her loser brother, that's one side story that made no sense at all. I still can't tell if he was good or bad or if he's just an idiot. Maybe it's just the way it was all put together but I just didn't like it. The one redeeming thing in this story was Drew, I actually liked him a lot and everything about him made sense and went with everything explained about him and his family so the star is just for him.
    My Hero!!!
I really enjoyed this read. Drew wants her land and Beth is not willing to give it up. This goes on for a while. On one of those days Drew confronts her the tornado hits and he ends up saving her life. While in the unground shelter they both realize that they have a strong attraction to one another and all the time they were fighting it was really foreplay and attraction. After being stuck overnight underground they are rescued by Drew. The city is turned upside down. Beth's home and part of her land is destroyed. Drew offers her a place to stay and from there things progress and the feeling the have takes over.
