Josie Tate is a family nurse practitioner and career mentor with a heart to see others succeed. Since starting her nursing journey with a BSN in 2006, her most memorable times include being a preceptor to nursing students and mentor to newly hired employees.

Soon after becoming a nurse practitioner in 2018, she saw new NPs experience a disconnect between obtaining an advanced degree and embracing the role of advanced practice provider. To bridge that gap, she created Clincepts, a mentoring resource to help nurse practitioners get happily hired.

As a nurse leader, Josie empowers nurse practitioners to start their career endeavors encouraged and equipped to start their search and seal the deal to their ideal NP job. Clincepts at its core strives to be the much needed support structure that elevates advanced practice nurses to thrive both in and out practice.

Josie is also passionate about her life outside of practice. Her favorite roles are wife to her college sweetheart and mom to their three fun-filled kids. In her spare time, you can catch her completing a home decor project or reading a self-development book.
